earlier the upper age limit for neet used to be 25 for general category if the same is applied for neet next year can a 25 yrs general category apply for the exam next year

Anurag Khanna 11th Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See right now the case to restore the 25 year as an upper age limit criteria is still pending in Supreme Court so till now there is now upper age limit but if SC passes an order to restore it then you won't be eligible for NEET and if it get restored this year then you won't be able to appear for NEET next year but if it won't passes then you can appear for NEET 2022 BUT there are some other criteria which needs to be fulfilled :

** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st 2022, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2022 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.

Yes obviously you need to pay the seat acceptance fee in order to participate in next rounds of counselling even if you have chosen float option by paying your seat acceptance fee you are confirming your seat in the counselling and you can then participate in the further rounds of counselling if you do not do so then you will be de barred from counselling and you can no longer participate in counselling

I gave my Cognizant Genc next interview 15 days back, I havent received any reply yet, does this mean I am rejected? Also, if yes, will I get chance for genc eleveate ?

Arhana Chakraborty 8th Sep, 2021

See in general the results are declared in 1 month past interview. SO you should wait for the remaining 15 days and you can call the reception of the cognizant and you can ask about the results, that way you can also get the details.

Now if you apply for GENC ELEVATE, then you can go for it and there are no issues about it and it doesn't mean that if you are not selected in Genc that doesn't necessarily mean that you will be rejected in Elevate. So don't be nervous and wait for some time and if you have your interview in some days then attempt the interview with full confidence.

I hope this helps. All the best.

I gave neet 2019 and scored 363 then I was depressed and was not able to study and ended up 384 in next attempt , I then went to Ukraine to pursue MBBS but i had to come back because of family problems now I have taken up BSc CS but Im not interested inthat so can I attempt for neet 2022

rajeevanand843 8th Sep, 2021

Dear aspirant

Yeah, definately you can take attempt once again in NEET 2022. As till date there is no any upper age limit for writing Neet so you can definitely attend how many times you want.

As you haven't completed any degree courses your eligibility code will be code2.

Make sure your all your original documents should be with you when you crack the neet because that will be needing in your admission process. Make sure you don't have leave any original documents like marksheet, any certificate anywhere.

So start preparing from now itself and make dream true come.

some tips to do well in VITEEE next years

Aditya 7th Sep, 2021

Hi aspirant,

Being a part of the entrance examination and the institution I can try to guide you in best possible ways. Here are some of the tips and suggestions you can follow to succeed in VITEEE:

  • For chemistry section leave all the books aside and read NCERT thoroughly, about 75 percent of it is covered by organic and inorganic section.
  • The mathematics part is difficult from board's but if you have prepared for JEE, it should be a cakewalk so keep practicing past year questions from VITEEE and try to raise difficulty level day by day.
  • For physics you can blindly follow DC Pandey or HC Verma but rather than focusing on difficult chapters try to cover entire syllabus as the questions from some chapters are very easy and generally this mistake is made by many.
  • Build option elimination skills as there is no negative marking and you can't devote more time to a single question.
  • While studying, the candidates are advised to make small notes so that they can revise through it anytime, anywhere. This will allow the candidates to strengthen their preparation by constantly checking their notes whenever they have a doubt.

To Know more about it and get syllabus, format etc visit https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/viteee-preparation-tips

Hope it helps!!

I have filled my NEET 2021 application form and got my admit card. Will there be any problem if i wont appear in exam? can i give NEET next year without any problem?

lsbohra1512 7th Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant,

If you has filled application form for NEET-2021, and it is up to you whether attend it or leave it. It does not cause any problem to you, you can fill new application form for the NEET-2022. But, in my opinion you should take the the examination, it will provide the real exam experience and help you in future.

The eligibility criteria for age for NEET is as follows;

  • Candidate has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year
  • Undergraduate Medical Courses.
  • The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as on the date of examination with
  • relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and
  • PwD Candidates.

NOTE: The upper age limit was challanged and  matters are pending adjudication before
  • the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and the authorities shall abide by any order that
may be passed for NEET-UG-2021.
  • Thus, the candidates above 25 years are provisionally permitted to appear and their candidature is subject to the outcome of pending Petitions before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

Hope this helps!!
