which should I prefer cse in kiit Bhubaneswar or cse in shiksha o anusandhan Bhubaneswar?

Desamsetti Sankar 2nd Aug, 2020

Hello Aditya,

Good to see you here,

Always cse is the good choics for the upgrading wold,

And you chosen the colleges kiit and shiksha both are awesome colleges .

From my point of view, cse kiit is better as kiit is a reputed college with good accreditation, good exposure to students, good placement,Good teaching methodology. cse in kiit is best in all branch in kiit. you will find good student environment in cse kiit.

On the other hand if you want to go for a good College life and you father is a business man then you can go for KIIT

Also looking at the facility status the student to facility ratio at

SOA (ITER) is 7:1 while at KIIT it is 24:1

People usually say more about KIIT as it’s bigger than SOA also KIIT owner belives in making money. The publicity of this institute is more than it’s work.

I hope this information will clarify your doubt.

THANK YOU.

Profile Male-General 10 - 95 12 -89.7 Bcom-69 Chartered Accountant- 57.3 Work Exp-11 m In NGO for 7 m No certication or participation in extra curricular activities which would be of value 2 question - 1)Should I expect calls from IIM-ABC and what is the min %tile required 2) How to boost profile

Udit Narayan 2nd Jun, 2020

Hello aspirant,

To answer your first question, Last years cut off for IIM- A was 99% and so was for IIM-B&C so you have to have at least 97-99%tile in CAT scores, there is no specific score which we can tell that you have to score to have such a percentile, you have to keep in mind that this percentile depends on number of students and also highest marks scored.

You general profile looks good and you have a job experience too, but its important to have a certificate of the same to prove it, all this adds to the score while selection in IIM-A/B/C.

You can always use our IIM call predictor to have a better idea, Here is the link for the same.

and to answer your 2nd question I would like to say that you ensure you have a great understanding and knowledge of the current affairs, you can also use your intelligence in finance to start studying about stocks and shares and also you can have a wide idea about what marketing really is and how to solve cases regarding to it.

I hope it helps.

i have been selected for Admission in IMS Ghaziabad in pgdm marketing and IT.Today I got an offer from XISS Ranchi for pgdm rural management. I have already deposited 65000 to IMS ghaziabad which is refundable if declined. My parents want me to go to xiss ranchi but NGO and villages dont appeal me.

Hello aspirant,

If we compare IMS Gaziabad and Xiss ranchi for it's specific specialisation, then undoubtedly with past records rural management at xiss ranchi stands at a better position. Rural management may involve you in NGo and travelling to villages to work in those areas but that's not always the case. MBA graduates in rural management is also required in CSR wings of the corporate and public sector, livelihoods focused organisations, micro-finance institutions, small finance banks among others. But moreover it's your decision and you should choose the field which interest you the most. Also if you are taking admission this year, then I'll recommend you to please take college reputation in the industry into consideration as placements are going to be severally affected due to covid-19.

Good luck
