Hello Aspirant ,

The jee mains/advanced eligibility criteria is as follows -

  1. Candidates should pass from any recognised board or University in their class 12th boards.
  2. Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects in their class 12th.
  3. Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.

If you fulfill above the criterias only then you would be able to give jee mains/advanced.

I passed 12th with pcb....with nios board .can I get admission in BCA today

shivamtrivedi0005 11th Sep, 2023

Hii There,

Certainly, you have the option to enroll in a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) course after completing your 12th standard through the National Institute of Open Schooling. The fundamental requirement for BCA admission is that the candidate must have passed the 12th standard from any recognized board, whether it is a State Board or a Central/National Board, regardless of the academic stream they pursued.

I hope this answers your question.

Thanks

Can 12th passed commerce student simultaneously give Nios 12th science exam in 5 subjects for jee mains and advance along with pursuing bcom? And if we dont want to use nios marksheet in future can we continue bcom and take admission in 2nd year on the basis of 12th commerce marksheet ?

Hello Aspirant,

I don't believe that you can give two examination from two different streams and that too science and commerce. If you have given 12th from commerce background then you can only give your 12th from nios in this background only.

And the lateral entry in the B.com course in the college won't be a good thing to do because even if you get into a college that college won't be a good one .

Because good colleges like Delhi University colleges and Goenka , Jaipuria college demands full time course.

Hello Aspirant,

The eligibility criteria of jee mains 2024 is as follows -

  1. Candidates should pass from any recognised board or University.
  2. Candidates should opt for physics chemistry and mathematics as mandatory subjects .
  3. Candidates should secure a minimum of 75 percentage in their class 12th.

So if you want to become eligible for jee mains you need to score 75% in NIOS board too. And in JEE mains you can give a total of 3 attempts .
