In 2019 the cut off were as follows for each category for CSE in Nirma University, Ahmedabad

• General:  426
• EWS: 521
• SEBC: 1642
• SC: 2440
• ST: 29797
• ESM: 3024

Based on this if you have 85% or above percentage in GSEB and 100+marks in GUJCET you have decent chances of getting seat in Nirma University.However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

see cutoff scores changes year to year and depends on various factors like number of participants, seat matrix , questions difficulty level etc, however mtech in cse has 18 seats, admission is done on gate score basis and for non gate scores holders there is separate admission test, you have gate score around 500+, you have decent chances, also the candidates need to have 50% marks in btech course, if your marking scheme is cgpa or cpi based you need to submit the percentage conversion rules of the respective university.

Online application process for admission to Nirma University will start from second week of March and goes upto last week of June. 35% of the total seats are reserved for admission through JEE-Main exam.

Let us discuss about the eligibility criteria :-

• It is mandatory for the candidate to have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 45% marks for the general category. For other categories it is 40%.
• Candidate must have studied Physics and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent exam along with chemistry/biology/computer/vocational subject.
• Candidate must have appeared in JEE-Main.

Admission will be done after the declaration of merit list on the basis of score in JEE-Main exam.

As you have scored 150 marks in JEE-Main, you have chances to secure a seat in this university but for exact branch it is difficult to predict because it depends on various factors like :

I think you should go for NIRMA as it is a good brand name and offers a better placement scenario than BIMTECH. The most important thing while selecting a college is to check the ROI i.e the placement scenario of the college with respect to the investment i.e. the fees of the college. 2019 NIRMA University cutoffs are not exactly known so I'll guide you with the 2018 cutoffs. And before that let me tell you cutoff marks keep varying or fluctuating from year to year as they depend on various factors like number of candidates appearing and also the paper level difficulty, etc. So I'll better guide you with the ranks. So in 2018, the cutoff for NIRMA University Computer Science branch was AIQ rank of 23293. For IT, it was around 36421 AIQ rank. To get this rank you need around 160+ marks in your Jee mains exam to be on the safer side.

Nirma university, Ahmedabad is one of the best institutes in India offering B.Tech programmes. To get CS and IT in Nirma University one needs to secure a rank under 450 or 500.
