As your query is you want to know that you have to fill the any empty form where you need to prefer 5 colleges and after that you want to know whether you have to fill the name of those five prefered colleges one second or except for the selected ones. 

The concept for re-applying for the preferences is just that in any case if you feel that you can go with some better options or you have found out then you can go with the earlier selected one, so there is not any such condition that you read need to repeat all the names provided with but you can go with some new colleges on you options as well.

the application form of NMAT. You would need to fill in your
personal information, contact information, education and work
experience, programme/school preference and additional information as
asked. Up to five programmes/ schools can be opted under the “School
Preference” section. Beyond five programmes/ schools, a payment of
Rs.200 + applicable tax will be applicable for each school/
programme. You would also need to upload your photograph.

If you have completed your undergraduate degree studies in product designing then after the completion of the course you are a product designer and most likely would possess the knowledge and skills of the same. Similarly, B.Des is a course of humanizing technology and not product designing and thus they both won't be the same.

you must have also notices that the reserved seats demand quite a high rank. I can't assure you but you can try in NITs like, NIT srinagar, NIT agartala,NIT silchar etc. However the chance is very low.

NOTE: fill the preferences as you want it to be, as the counseling process can be really unpredictable at times.

NMIMS has got three campuses. The main campus is in Mumbai which requires a minimum score of 210 in NMAT exam and the average placements for marketing is somewhere between 10-12 lakhs per annum. 

The other two campuses are in Hyderabad and Bangalore and they require a cutoff of 208 in NMAT. But the placements there are not as good as the Mumbai campus. They have an average package of 6 lakhs per annum.
