Hello Aspirant! The placements at NSUT are good, and ICE students are eligible for a lot of companies. The curriculum does not matter much, you can study subjects for whichever field you are interested in on your own. ICE is quite a good branch. Students from ICE branch get selected in various top-notch institutions around the world like UCB, IIMC to name few. Students also have to chance to secure placement in various top companies in various sectors like Tech/IT, Core and Non-Tech.
And also, if you're interested in coding then you should definitely go for it.

With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that NIT trichy and NITs allahabad are the nits which you can give more prefference to NSUT as they are very small difference in placements but their are high chances you will get better coding culture in ALLHABAD and TRICHY so you give more preference to them

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of vacant seats in college previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper

I would recommend you to take up nsut computer science . It is not that like DTU is not good for software Engineering . Both colleges are one of the best colleges in delhi. It is just on the basis of placements.

Nsut has an average package of 12L per annum and dtu has 9-10L per annum. Lastly it's your decision what you would take on the basis of your interest. If you like to deal with mathematics then go with data science otherwise go with software engineering.

Both of the college IIT Delhi and NSUT are consider to be among best college for engineering. But IIT Delhi will be consider best in terms of placement and college life. It totally depends on your area of interest whether interested in CS or civil engineering. If you have not decided any branch till yet then you should prefer IIT Delhi and pursue civil engineering from there only . You will get good exposure from their. Also if you perform good at college then you will get a good placement from there . But if your area of interest is CS then I would suggest NSUT only. Its placement facility is also excellent .many MNCs like Microsoft, Amazon come here with good offers.If you are further going to prepare for any competitive exam then you should know before hand that in NSUT ,you will have to satisfy 75% attendance criteria.
