• Environmental Engineering: 221188
• Bio-Technology: 319280

The above mentioned cut off is the previous year cut off in round 9 under SC category (Outside Delhi region). Cut off changes every year depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Hello Aspirant! If your certificate is already updated and hasn't expired till date and can be used for admission then you don't need to renew your certificate. Faculty: I don't think that teachers play a favourable role in enhancing academics section of students in this college. Moreover, teachers are much concentrated about attendance. Some teachers are very good, and we can definitely learn various things from them.

Placements: It is a very good college in case of computer branches, but for core branches, it needs a lot of improvement. The average salary package offered for computer branches is 14 LPA, and for core branches, it is 6 to 8 LPA. I suggest not to opt for this college if you are interested in researches.

Overall NSUT MECHANICAL is a good branch to choose.

In my opinion you should go for BTech in NSUT.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) Delhi, earlier known as NSIT (Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology) boasts of 100% placement with many students getting multiple offers. The record says that 120 companies offering high-end packages visit the campus each year for placements. Usually, 67% of the recruiters repeatedly visit NSUT during the campus placement drives each year.

Several NSIT graduates have managed to get into reputed Indian B-Schools like IIMs and FMS, while some others were offered opportunities to pursue higher studies in the Universities, including Columbia University, University of Pennsylvania, etc. In 2016, an MTech student of NSIT Delhi managed to bag the highest annual package in the history of the institute, which is Rs 1.25 crore . EPIC and Snapdeal offered a salary package of Rs 80 LPA and Rs 15.25 LPA , respectively which became the second and third-highest remuneration of 2016 batch. In my opinion you should go for NSUT, it has better placements, research and campus life in compare to other two colleges.

For candidates who are interested in research, innovation, and higher studies, IIIT Delhi is definitely a better choice among the three. But students, who are interested in placement, infrastructure, and college life, should prefer NSIT or DTU for an engineering degree.

There are several reasons to support my choice -

• In IIIT Delhi, there is more workload in engineering, compared to other institutes. But, even after having such a curriculum, the placement statistics are not as good as DTU or NSIT. With an increasing batch size in IIIT Delhi, there is a significant fall in placement percentage at the institute.
• In 2020, there is a 38% full-time offer for 2021 graduates and 19% internship offers for 2022 graduates, in a batch size of 310 and 382 respectively. The incoming batch comprises 524 students, which may create a further shortage in placement.
• In IIIT Delhi, every company visiting the campus for placement allows CSE, CSAM, and ECE branches and almost 75% of them allow CSD, CSB, and CSSS. Although there is a downfall in placement percentage at DTU and NSIT due to the COVID pandemic, they are still in a better position than IIIT Delhi.
• Students in IIIT Delhi, have no proper placement guidance they have to prepare themselves, with their normal course work. Students succeeding can get a good placement in IIIT Delhi. For students in NSIT and DTU, the first two years are critical in which they need to improve their skill-set.
• Institutes like DTU and NSIT have an extensive alumni base and a brand value, better for a corporate reach. There are no non-tech companies that visit IIIT Delhi during placements.
• Due to the difficult curriculum in IIIT Delhi, getting a good GPA score is much harder for students, than students in NSIT or DTU.
• Students of NSIT or DTU study two weeks before the semester to get a decent GPA score, but for IIIT Delhi, students need to work from the first day of the class.
• NSIT and DTU provide several extra-curricular activities like cultural and sports events. IIIT Delhi, on the other hand, is a growing institute, but still is making up a good place in these events, with a lot of enthusiasm and participation of students.

Therefore, considering the opportunities in research and having an extensive curriculum and course structure, IIIT Delhi is definitely one of India’s best institutes. But for enjoying college life and getting a good placement at the same time, DTU and NSIT should be considered.

Hi, NSUT is affiliated with Delhi university and is a newly found organization and is a Government college. DTU has less number of intake. Courses offered in NSUT are more in comparison. Coming to placements. NSUT has more students placed than DTU for your branch. However, the companies that come are pretty similar.
