NSUT
Congratulations on the rank secured by your son. We know he performed his level-best, but unfortunately, his rank will probably not be good enough to get a seat in either Civil or Electrical engineering disciplines in NSUT, Delhi (judging from previous years' cut-offs). But NSUT offers other disciplines that he is surely eligible of with his rank. Please find attached the detailed cut-offs for all streams for NSUT, Delhi, here:

To answer your second question- Drafting a comparison between Civil and Electrical disciplines would not be legitimate. Both of them are core engineering courses and have wide scopes in future if pursued in a dedicated manner. However, in my (an electrical engineering student's) opinion, Electrical engineering has slightly better job opportunities in India compared to Civil. Wishing you luck, thank you. :)
Hello Aspirant! Firstly congratulations for the Best choices you're getting. Both DTU and NIT Rourkela are preferred as the best colleges for BTech. So as your home state is in Delhi you can go for DTU as it's better than any other colleges in Delhi and also for your convenience. Else NIT Rourkela anytime.

All the best for your Future !
At 94.2 percentile you have very high chances of getting ICE at nsut and you should definitely not drop the idea of getting admission at NSUT it is a great college and you will get a great coding environment here also many top companies come here for placements which do not even go to low brand colleges so I would advice you to take NSUT with ice branch and keep coding at the end your hard work and college name will help you a lot.
Dear Student,
Actually it depends whether you belong to Delhi or not, because if not then there is very less chance that you will get any.
And if you are from Delhi then you can get almost every branch in DTU except CSE and IT or might get these also, same for the NSIT. But for IIIT you need some more good rank to get top branches still you may get some of the lower one.
Moreover you can use this link to predict some of the good colleges according to your rank.
Good Luck :)
