Actually it depends whether you belong to Delhi or not, because if not then there is very less chance that you will get any.

And if you are from Delhi then you can get almost every branch in DTU except CSE and IT or might get these also, same for the NSIT. But for IIIT you need some more good rank to get top branches still you may get some of the lower one.

Out of the two options that you chose, first let us focus on Delhi Technologocal University where IT curriculum is nicely taught, the companies offer jobs with salary packages 9-12 LPA. This college has experienced faculties, great infrastructure. Next comes NSUT is also a very good college and placements records are same as DTU. But the college life is somewhat strict yet amazing. But the stream core IT is better than ITNS in terms of placements.

As you have mentioned that you have got 13638 rank in jee mains and you are general candidate from delhi  yes you can get admission in delhi technological university to the branches like biotechnology, chemical engineering, civil,electrical, electronics and communications, mechanical environmental engineering.

You can also have admission in NSUT college on the various branches like biotechnology, electrical, electronics and communications, mechanical  engineering. Hope you are doing well. See Netaji Subhas University of Technology is a great institute to be in. However, it is all the more known only for its Computer related branches (including IT). While it has a real good placement scenario in software fields, its placements in core is not at par.

Therefore, it is recommended that you look for other opportunities.

Yes . You will need a character certificate for admission in JAC DELHI . If you have passed 12th and JEE in the same year. Then you will get it with your Marksheet of 12th from your school.

If you are a dropper, you can either go to your school again and contact the teachers, they will make your character certificate again. Or else you can go to any gazetted Officer e.g. local MLA/MP, any section officer or officer in high posts in government ministries. Also, don't forget to go for the document format of character certificate along with yourself .

Other Documents required for JAC Delhi Counselling :-

Candidates need the following documents while reporting at the institute allotted through JAC Delhi 2021 counselling:

• JAC Delhi online registration form

• Fee receipt of Rs. 10,000

• Demand Draft of Rs. 85,000 drawn in favour of “JAC DELHI ADMISSION FEE” payable at New Delhi

• Candidate’s three passport size photographs

Hope you are doing great there . See for sub category like defence do not follow some special trend when it comes to defence category . Since your percentile score is quite good , you might be able to fetch a seat in these valuable colleges , but nothing can be assured about which branch you will get . Also when it comes to admission under defence category priority 5 category students are given preference .
