U. Janani 16th Nov, 2020

Hi Aryan!

Congrats on your rank in JEE Mains! Based on 2019 JEE Mains Cut Off, I'm afraid that your rank has not come under your preferred colleges. But below are the list of colleges where your rank was under their preference:

  • JD College of Engineering and Management, Nagpur.
  • Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, Aurangabad.
  • K.K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education, Nashik.
  • VIT, Mumbai.
  • SAE, Pune.
  • ACE, Ahmednagar.
  • NBN Sinhgad School of Engineering, Pune.

Hope this is helpful!

can i get in DTU or NSUT for 81.57 percentile for obc category?

Uttara 11th Nov, 2020

Hello,

According to your percentile your expected category rank is 64,019 -68,357 and your general rank is 184608 - 216758.

So assuming you live outside delhi for your rank it is very difficult in getting any branch in DTU as last rank for home state category itself was around 1.2 lakh that too for OBC category.SImilarly for NSIT also your chances of getting a college is very low.

You can apply for other private colleges in your state and check the colleges that you can get with this predictor-

Which JEE Main rank will be considered for admission to NSUT from JAC counselling, the category rank or the CRL rank?

Palak kumari 2nd Oct, 2020

Hey aspirant,

For admission in NSUT, your CRL rank is considered. There is a slight difference for reserved category students and that is for the selection of their preferred branches. For example-if he is from reserved category then first his CRl will be considered for his preferred Branch but if his CRL is higher than cutoff then his CATEGORY rank will be considered.

Hope it helps

Good luck.

can i get any branch in dtu or nsut crl rank 1.34 lac ews home state delhi

Harsh Chandravanshi 9th Nov, 2020

Hi Aspirant!

According to previous year last round cutoff of JAC Delhi under EWS Category and Home state quota the closing rank of NSUT is 40k and for DTU is 47k but your rank is far from that ranks hence it would be impossible for you to get the admission in any of the college even after applying the categories benefits.

I hope it helps

Is nsut new campus good?should I take admission in it this year?

Suvakanta Sahu 26th Sep, 2020

Dear Aspirants ,

The Delhi Government has announced two new campuses of Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) by integrating two campuses Ch. Brahm Prakash Government Engineering College, Jaffarpur and ‘Ambedkar Institute Of Advanced Communication Technologies & Research’ registered under Department of Training and Technical Education. These institutes will have all-round development in the fields of teaching and research. The growth rate of these Institutes was not encouraging despite their existence for more than 12 years. This new development has created 360 additional seats in the BTech course and 72 in the MTech course .

The West Campus at Jaffarpur will specialize in the area of core branches such as Civil, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering and likewise while the East Campus at Geeta Colony will enhance and cater to the needs in the area of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science Engineering.

Yes these college are good you can take admission in this college .NSUT is done through JEE (Mains) exam. Now after the integration, admission in these Campuses will also be made through JEE exams .

Hope it will helpful

Thanks

which is better -ICE (NSUT) or MAM (DTU)?

NAINA SHARMA 4th Nov, 2020

Hi Aspirant,

DTU or Delhi Technology University and NSUT or Netaji Subhash Technology University, Delhi are state-funded technology institutions located in the state of Delhi. Both institutions were formerly affiliated with the University of Delhi, but both institutions were later converted to their respective universities and were granted autonomous status.

Comparing the two institutes is going to be a tough thing, as the competition is very strong for both institutes. The number of brilliant students earned by both colleges is rising year on year.

Infrastructure:

  • DTU has a much stronger infrastructure than NSIT. It has AC classrooms, and the campus is even larger than NSUT.

Faculty:

  • The faculty at both colleges is great. I'm going to say it depends from branch to branch. The most important thing to note in a college is the atmosphere it provides. As far as my research is concerned, both colleges provide a wonderful atmosphere in terms of clubs and extra-curricular activities.
  • You can learn a lot of things even though you're not in the branch. There are many education related clubs which definitely enhance your personality and education.

Placements:

  • The highest DTU package for the 2019-20 session was 1.02 crore, with almost all of the students sitting for the placement being placed. The average package was 11.7 lakh.
  • For NSUT, the highest package was 1.42 crores, and here, too, all the students who sat for the placement were put. The average package here was 7.75 lakhs per year.

Now, talking on which one is better is very hard to tell because both institutes excel in their efficiency as students. But I personally think that the DTU is better than NSUT in terms of placements and opportunities. But the final choice is yours.

All the best.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you.
