gauravvijayvargiya399 3rd Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Nsut college gives and provides scholarship under the Delhi Government Merit cum means scholarship given by Govt of NCT of Delhi.

It is based completely on merit basis and on income of the candidate.

In order to get scholarship at NSUT college, criteria goes like ,

1. You have to score atleast or more than 65 % without any backlogs.

2. If you have family income less than 1 LPA then 100% of your tution fees is refunded. And if your income is between 1 LPA and 2 LPA then 50 % of the tution fees is refunded.

For the students who fulfill both the above mentioned criteria, gets scholarship at NSUT college.

Hope that helps.

how much scholarship is given in nsit/nsut for btech course year 2020-2021 for sc and EWS category students?? Is there any fee waiver for them??

chandni deb 3rd Nov, 2020

Dear Student,

Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Delhi, provides scholarships as a financial aid to those students who are eligible for a seat but do not necessarily have the sufficient funds for it.

Under the National Merit Scholarship scheme, scholarships are offered on the basis of the results of their higher secondary exams. The candidates are required to score a percentile above 80 to be able to avail this scholarship. Some of the scholarships provided by the Government of Delhi are accepted by the institution.

The institution provides a Merit Cum Means scholarships to the students who have good merit but do not have the sufficient finances to pay them. This scholarship is booked for those candidates of  top 5% of every batch in engineering. Minorities or defense candidates can avail a lot of scholarships from the Government.

which is better in engineering - EP at DTU or MPAE at NSUT? and i want to make choice with placement as a criteria .

Harsh Chandravanshi 1st Nov, 2020

Hi Aspirant!

Both the colleges are prestigious college in Delhi and both has great packages. As no college provides information regarding placement branch wise we can not judge them by considering branch wise placements. Now according to some past year data DTU has average package of 11.5 lakhs while NSUT has approximately same as this around10.5 lakhs.

Hence on placements basis you can go with any college but DTU rank 36 and NSUT rank 76 in recent NIRF ranking so you better go with DTU as the college will surely unfolds many layers for you and provide you unlimited opportunity.

I hope it helps.

Happy Hustling!

avilashrahul 27th Oct, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

As per my opinion NSUT is very good college for engineering but for BBA ,it's not that good.I will  At the end of the day where ever you go you have to study you must work hard for youself.

In my opinion you should search for a better college for BBA and if you wanna go for BBA then NSUT will not be a wise choice.

Should I pursue BBA from NSUT, top colleges of IP, BR Ambedkar DU, or Symbiosis Pune?/

pkp.inutail 25th Oct, 2020

Greetings, Anvesha.

It is a personal opinion so take it with a grain of salt.

While deciding these things you should consider:

- Your career plans

- Affordability

- Exposure and the lack of it

- Utility of the degree

Frankly speaking, SYMBIOSIS Pune is the best option out of all that you have mentioned not just because of its reputation but also because it offers pretty decent exposure levels for a good business school experience.

Cons - Symbiosis is expensive (Rs. 3 lacs for the first year and then other additional costs of living) while NSUT is Rs. 3 lacs for whole course of three years)

1) Look at it this way, if you plan on taking up a job right after completing BBA then you should look at colleges as a stepping stone of opportunities, i.e. you should not think about affordability but instead think about what that college will offer you for your money - Symbi Pune in that regard is great since placements are good and college life if full of different experiences, meeting smart people from all walks of life, living in a fast city such as Pune, etc.

Now top colleges of IPU also offer a chance to live in a big city like Delhi, exposure and smart people but it lacks in placements for BBA students.

2) If you plan on going for MBA or any other competitive exams afterwards then you should think in terms of time management and money. What I mean by that is you should go for a college where you don't spend a lot of money and college activities don't take up so much time that you can't prepare for CAT or any other exams (Symbi Pune will be a serious and engaging experience where your college life will take up a lot of your time)

So, in a nut shell.

- Symbiosis Pune - Good exposure, Good placements but expensive and time consuming 3 years

- IPU top colleges - Good exposure, average placements, not that time consuming since the career stakes aren't that high over there

- NSUT - Average exposure, average placements, affordable fees.

take some time and decide what you want to do after BBA then you may be able to make an informed and reasonable decision, don't rush it.

best of luck, Good day!

iit delhi mechanical engineering vs NSUT cse? I have interest in both. in which I have more paying job? my eyes are weak.which I should choose(future reference)

Rama Devi 24th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Between these two branches, cse of course had many more future options. As you might have heard these terms like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, Android Development, Web Development, Blockchain Development. You can see many other options as future for CSE. So CSE has more options when compared to Mechnical branch. But as you said you're having problems with your eyes so you can't pursue CSE as it involves sitting before laptop for studying/coding. So it's your choice of deciding to move with which branch. If you are good (as per health)  then you can go for Mechnical branch.
