You have to pay Rs. 16,000 one time at the time of admission along with the following fees / semester.
There are two kinds of room offered. AC and Non-AC. Non AC rooms are of three types : 1)Single seated 2) DOuble seated 3) Triple seated and for AC rooms you will have only one option of three seated room.
For BE Students in Non AC rooms:

Hello Aspirant,
According to the rank and category you have mentioned in the question you have no chances of getting in to either of the institutions as per previous year's cut-off. As cut-offs for this year is not declared yet so we can guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which are given below :-
Closing rank for DTU in 2019 was 11,157 for PCT and for NSUT it was 11,195 for BT for Outside Delhi candidates.
For complete details about previous year's cut-offs refer the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the chances of your admission in different colleges based upon your percentile and category :-

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Hello aspirant! Hope you are doing well! A student is expected to attend the college during its official timing. The academics of NSUT is very strong and highly oriented. Student quality ( peer group) in this college is pretty good. The college provides opportunity to almost everyone to learn programming in the college. The curriculum of NSIT was not good but after becoming NSUT , the curriculum has been updated and upgraded College has good professor - COE and ECE branches of college are preferred over many IIT'S . so spending time in college depends entirely upon a student capability- class timing, library, assignments scheduled etc
helllo aspirant ...
As i am also a student of electrical engineering .
The average engineering student spends 19 hours per week studying
5 hours in a day ... but if you want to do GATE then you should extend your time
hope it helps !
greetings,
here is some basic info on both colleges:
NSUT:
- fees (B.Tech) - approx. 8.5 lacs
- placements - around 4-5 lacs per annum (avg. for CSE graduates)
- Good and active student body
- better infrastructure than MSIT
MSIT:
- Fees - approx. 4.6 lacs
- Placements - avg. 4 lacs per annum
- Decent faculty (as per current students)
- okay-ish infrastructure
generally, MSIT is considered to be better ranked that NSUT but both are pretty similar in terms of opportunities and such.
you can make your decision based on peer reviews, distance from your home for convenience.
best of luck, good day!
