iit delhi mechanical engineering vs NSUT cse in terms of placement and average salary. future aspects . in which I will be more profitable?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 24th Oct, 2020
Hello,

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT ), formerly known as Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) is a state-level university is arguably one of the best college for pursuing CSE and it is in same level as IITs. So in my opinion if you are getting cse then go for it because the placement is unmatchable in nsut for cse. However if your interest is in Mechanical engineering then you should better take IITD.

I hope this helps.

Hey there!

It would be hard for me to tell you your exact admission possibilities.Since you got 38k rank in General EWS. Moreover,it would be great if you tell what course you wabt admisiion in. There are chances for your admission though. Under 38K you can get Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering ,Bio-Technology .

You can also use our college predictor tool to find out whether you can get in or not The is below,

I am taking a drop for JEE Mains 2021, my board score is less than 75% in 2020. Can I get admission in NIT / IIT / NSUT.

Anurag Khanna 12th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See as we know that NTA gave us relaxation for class 12th 75% criteria but that is only for this year not to for every year this is because due to COVID-19 Pandemic to give some relief to aspirants the decision has been taken.

If you have not scored 75% and if you are in also not in top 20 percentile of your respective board results then you are not eligible for getting admission to any of the NITs/IIITs/IITs and so on.

O hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

can u tell me wht is the difference b/w in CRL rank and SC rank bcz i got CRL rank 787369 and sc rank is 69420 so can i get IT in NSUT pls tell ????

Hrisheekesh Singh 12th Sep, 2020

Hi student,

CRL(Common Rank List) rank is the rank that you are getting from competing with students all over India while SC category rank is the rank that you are getting from competing with all SC category students all over India.

At CRL rank 787369 and SC rank 69420 it is impossible to get any of the branch in NSUT, Delhi. You can try for state level lower cutoff colleges or private colleges.

Vivek Kumar 9th Nov, 2020

Hi aspirant, on the behalf of your question let me tell you first of all tjat CRL means Common Rank List it is the common and is prepared for all candidates appearing for the exam without mentioning any caste category, it is common to all, whereas SC rank list us the list that is issued in the SC category students or yoou can say that SC rank in CRL means SC rank is issued to arrange the order of first to last in SC category students

Secondly sorry to say but on this rank you won't get any chance of getting NSUT.

You should try for anyother college.

To predict your college in behalf of your rank I would like you to refer you college predictor tool by careers360(link mentioned below);

my son prefer cse from YMCA over nsut

Dinesh nehra 21st Oct, 2020

I think NSUT DELHI cse branch better then YMCA Faridabad.because Delhi is better city then Faridabad so you get more opportunities.and placement of NSUT Delhi also more than YMCA.And for abroad study if you study from Delhi then it also helps you.and also you get more opportunity Of extra curricular activities in NSUT DELHI.

I have got 1904 rank in EWS category and 12534 In general category. Can i get CSE in DTU or NSUT

Atrayee Gayen 19th Oct, 2020

Hey aspirant!

You have not written which entrance exam's rank you have mentioned.

If this is your JEE MAINS rank then, you can get CSE in DTU but in EWS Category. Last year's cut off closing rank of DTU for CSE for general category was 2866, and that for EWS was 4093. So, it is difficult for you to get admission through your general category rank, but you can get admission through your EWS rank.

Now for NSUT, the last year's cut off closing rank for CSE for general category was 2336 ( for home state) and 1121(for other state). And the same for EWS category was 5974 (for home state) and 1501 (for other state). So, in this case you can get admission through your EWS rank but only if you belong to the same state. Your chances are very less for other categories.

You can also use the JEE MAIN predictor to check other colleges you might get in:-
