what is total score and NTA score?

Firdouse 7th Sep, 2020

Hello

The Percentile scores for the Total Raw Score for all the four sessions (Session-1: Day-1 Shift-1, Session2: Day-1 Shift-2, Session-3: Day-2 Shift-1 and Session-4: Day-2 Shift-2) calculated by formula would be merged and shall be called the NTA scores which will then be used for compilation of result and preparation of overall Merit List / Ranking. The Percentile of all four sessions will be calculated separately for the Total raw score and the raw scores in three subjects (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry)

Hope it helps

Will nta see the toughness of the particular shift for jee mains to decide percentile of the students in that shift?

Esita Sau 7th Sep, 2020
Hello Aspirant,
As per my knowledge NTA will not check the toughness of the paper because almost in every shifts they try to keep the level of the paper same. So the toughness of the paper is never going to decide the percentile. Percentile will depend upon how you have given your exam.
For college prediction you may use the following link,

All the best.
Thank you.

As you have told that your score in JEE MAINS is 24 Percentile and you belongs from OBC category and wants to seek admission in NITs. .You can't get seats in even government colleges.  To get admission into NITs one has to score minimum 95 percentile. Whether you belongs to any category.

my nta score is 1.8771153 how much mark can i expect

Anurag Khanna 6th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

According to the percentile you have mentioned in the question your approximate rank would be near about 8.7 Lacs and it is quite difficult to predict the marks but according to previous year's trends your marks would be -10 to 10 and on the basis of this rank you are not going to get any of the good college until you appear for JEE-Advance and if you belongs to PwD category then only you can qualify for JEE-Advance on the basis of this percentile.

However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the college :-

I hope this information helps you.
