my nta score is 84. will inbe qualified to write advance?

Anurag Khanna 11th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See till now the official qualifying cut-offs have not been released and the qualifying cut-off percentiles are released along with final result of JEE-Main 2022 which will be released after both the sessions i.e. most probably in August '22.

But o n such percentile, being a General candidate you have very less chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

My NTA score is 21.5399415.Is it a good score??

dhanshree1501 13th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well.

Making predictions is challenging because grades, percentiles, and rankings change year depending on things like

number of pupils who took the test,

type of grades they received,

The degree of difficulty of the test for various test shifts, etc.

But, yes When we review the trend from prior years, percentile of 21.53

Your position would be somewhere between 677328 and 761415.

Your percentile is poor because you can't get into good institutions like NITs with this ranking. Work hard and strive for at least a 95+ percentile in the upcoming Jee Main session.

To find out which institutions you can enrol in, use the JEE Main College Predictor provided below: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna answer

To assist you even more, The qualifying cut off for jee main 2022 is as follows:

87.8992241 percentile overall

66.2214845 % on the EWS

68.0234447% OBC-NCL percentile

46.8825338 percentile for SC

34.6728999 percentile for ST

0.0096375 percentile for PWD

I got 67.1097797 as my nta score in jee mains. Is it good or not? should I work little more harder for session 2?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 11th Jul, 2022

Hi

Assuming you from general category

It's quite difficult to make prediction as marks vs percentile vs rank keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like

------------------------) number of students that appeared in the exam,

------------------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------------------) toughness level of the examination for different shifts of the exam etc.

But yes ,

When we go through previous years trend then,

--------------------------------) 67.1097797    percentile

Your nta score / percentile is not good as with above rank  you can't get any good colleges like NITs etc

JEE main college predictor is given below, to know the colleges you can get admission in:- https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

To help you  further,

To give an idea of jee main 2022 qualifying cut off ,

Minimum percentile in jee main 2021 to qualify it is given below :-

--------) general :-87.8992241 percentile

--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile

--------) OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile

--------) SC :- 46.8825338 percentile

--------) ST:- 34.6728999 percentile

--------) PWD :- 0.0096375 percentile

You can check the same at our page the link is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

So, you should definitely work hard for 2nd session

To enhance your performance in jee main 2nd session, you can go for jee main rank booster course for which link is given below:-
