My jee nta score is 80.7(general).will i get admission in amrita coimbatore university for aerospace engineering by this score? am I eligible for scholarship then?

Vedant Borle 12th Aug, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

At Amritha University, AEEE will go for 70% of seat distribution, while Jee Mains will go for 30%. In order to apply to a college using your jee mains score, you must meet the exam cutoff score. The expected cutoff for this year is around 89 to 90 percentile for the general category, based on the result analysis. However, because the top percentile will be selected depending on the number of submissions, it is impossible to predict.

They offer scholarships according on the results of the Amrita entrance exam. A total of 230 scholarships are given about 10% of total seats. Students with less than 1000 ranks may be eligible for a 90% scholarship. Scholarships of up to 50% are available for the rank upto 2000. If your rank is upto 4000 you can get 25%  scholarships across all branches based on the number of students enrolled.

Hope this information helps.

Good Luck!

I have a disability certificate in orthopaedics with 40% and I have a permanent certificate of pwd issued by my district hospital , so is there any need for another certificate from those 12 medical colleges of issued by NTA

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 9th Aug, 2021
Hello

There's reservation only for benchmark disability ( means disability should be at least 40%) .NTA doesn't recognises pwd certificate by any hospital other than those prescribed by NTA under bench mark disability RPWD Act-2016 .
So, yes to avail pwd reservation in neet, you must get pwd certificate from any one out of the 13 of the hospitals listed below

------) Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi
------) All India Institute of Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation (for Locomotor Disability only) Mumbai
------) Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research, Kolkata
------) Madras Medical College Chennai
------) Grant Government Medical College, J.J. Hospital Compound
Mumbai, Maharashtra
------) Goa Medical College Goa
------) Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram
------) SMS Medical College Jaipur, Rajasthan
------) Govt. Medical College and Hospital, Sector32 Chandigarh
------) Govt. Medical College, Agartala, State Disability Board Agartala/Tripura
------) Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU
------) Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing
Disabilities, Bandra, Mumbai
(for disabilities of hearing only)
Mumbai, Maharashtra
------) AIIMS, Nagpur Nagpur, Maharashtra

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,

  • go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination. To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout for you :- https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-
