In Jee mains (under OBC category),I have got my NTA score as 68.8833269 ,can you tell me whether I can get any seats in IIIT or any top ranking college in Karnataka?

Sowmya Konkala 19th Aug, 2021

hello,

68.8833269 percentile would fetch you a rank around 318324-357842.As of now its tough to say where you can fetch seat because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc

from obc category based on your rank you have tough chances to fetch seat in nits, iiits you need better percentile of 98+  to fetch seat in nits, iiits .even 94-95 percentile would help you land in nits like nit agartala, sikkim in least cutoff branches..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx  .

you can try in few top private engineering colleges like :

for top private engineering colleges you can try  for the below colleges through jeemains:

thapar university

BIT mesra

sastra university

srm university

amritha vishwa vidyapeetham

Aman Mishra 19th Jul, 2021

Hello,

As you have attempted for the JEE Main paper-2 Entrance exam ie, NATA exam and also you have scored a decent marks. So as you have mentioned your physics, chemistry and maths percentile you can easily calculate your overall percentile. By seeing your all the three subjects marks i can make the assumption that your percentile will lie between 60 to 70 percentile but as you know that you should calculate your rank because at the end rank is important so for that you can simply use any rank predictor and you have to put details correctly and your rank will be shown and you will get a better idea about where you actually lie.

Thank you..

I have submitted undertaking form instead of EWS category certificate in jee main form in February but now its july and i dont have category certificate, if i will go with undertaking and give the exam will nta/jossa/jac cancel my candidature ???

Anurag Khanna 9th Jul, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

No they will not cancel your candidature because now there is no need to take even the undertaking at examination center because there is no any requirement of it, neither your category certificate nor your undertaking is required for examination until and unless you belongs to PwD category but yes you have to arrange your category certificate any how by the time of admission because during document verification you will have to submit the original category certificate.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

what is my all india rank and sc category rank my jee nta score is 61 and what is my marks

Shivam Kumar 18th Aug, 2021

Hello

If we analyze JEE Main 2020 Ranks vs Percentile data, then if you get 61 percentile your CRL Rank is expected to be somewhere between 4,23,000 - 4,28,000, and EWS Rank is expected to be in the range of 29,000 - 33,000.

The rank written above is predicted on the basis of the previous year's data so your actual rank may vary depending upon current factors.

You can use the following link to predict your marks :

Hi, my ward scores 500 in NTA Abhyas app. is it considered good mark to score 600+ in Neet exam ? Please share your experiences/ thoughts

Megha Bele 9th Jul, 2021

Hi sir,

This is a decent score to get. I would suggest you to try scoring more marks and read accordingly

Generally you can get a government seat in MEDICAL COLLEGE MBBS if you score more than 580 marks. This score will assure you mbbs seat anywhere.

With 500 marks, you can definitely get A BDS seat and that too government college.

ALL THE BEST

HOPE IT HELPS.

my nta score is 61 what is my all india rank ans sc category rank and which nits iiits and other college give admission me on this rank

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 18th Aug, 2021

Hi

Your profile suggests that your home state is MP

With 61 percentile

Your sc rank will be around 35000

With above  rank, you have extremely low chances in NITs .

For example

Under other state quota closing rank for some of the lower NIT for SC category is provided below as 6th josaa counselling 2020 :-

  • NIT Mizoram :- civil engineering :- 8376 sc rank

  • Nit nagaland :- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering:- 8641  sc rank

  • National Institute of Technology Agartala, Production Engineering :- 9207 sc rank

You can verify the above at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Try to get at least sc rank of around 9000 i. e at least around 85 percentile to get into NITs

Similarly,

You have very low chances in IIITs

Closing rank for some of the IIITs for which closing rank goes low are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 for sc category  :-

  • Indian Institute of Information Technology(IIIT) Dharwad, Computer Science and Engineering  :- 9297 sc rank

  • Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara International Campus Diu (IIITVICD), Computer Science and Engineering:- 10040 sc rank

  • Indian Institute of Information Technology, Agartala, Computer Science and Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology):- 10226 sc rank

  • Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur, Mechatronics Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) :- 11133 sc rank

So, to get a seat in IIITs you should get target at least around 10,000 - 11,000 Sc rank

You have good chances in colleges like

----------)Shri Ram College of Engineering and Management, Palwal :- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/shri-ram-college-of-engineering-and-management-palwal/cut-off?college_id=2281&exam_sub_exam_id=2&ici=college_view_cutoffs

----------)Budge Budge Institute of Technology, Kolkata :- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/budge-budge-institute-of-technology-kolkata/cut-off?college_id=4747&exam_sub_exam_id=2&ici=college_view_cutoffs

----------)Oriental College of Technology, Bhopal:- https://www.careers360.com/colleges/oriental-college-of-technology-bhopal/cut-off

Above prediction of is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

Can I make changes in the official Undertaking for EWS provided by NTA for JEE MAINS 2021?? Because it says that I will upload original certificate before MAY 2021 and its already JULY now with two attempts pending.

Anurag Khanna 8th Jul, 2021

Hello Yash,

See undertaking is available for those candidates who don't have their valid reservation certificate at the time of application but can produce later on at the time of admission.

It is recommended that you should not make any correction in the undertaking for category certificate because the authorities are also well aware of the scenario that exams have been postponed due to the second wave of covid-19 and the same undertaking will be considered as valid until and unless NTA releases any new undertaking. Even if it will release any new undertaking and suppose you have already applied with the old undertaking then also your application with that undertaking will be considered as valid.

So If you don't have your reserved category certificate for EWS category right now then you can submit the undertaking which declares that you will submit the original and valid caste certificate later on at the time of admission. You can download the undertaking from the official portal of NTA, for which link is also given below :-

https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/webinfo2021/File/GetFile?FileId=5&LangId=P

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

** After making corrections just click on 'Preview and Submit' and then preview the form if it does not require further modification then just submit it.

** Now you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number and e-mail, just enter it and your correction will be submitted.

** Now take the print out of the NEET correction slip for future references.

Also note that images should be uploaded in the prescribed specifications as given below :-

-->> Passport size photograph (10-200 Kb in JPG format),
