Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.
As if you filled your category as EWS during JEE exam form fillup then your categoryrank is of EWS not of OBC. Soif you can't get your category rank as OBC then you just can avail it. During 1st round the college will be alloted based on EWS category. Let if you get a seat then you have to produce a proof in the document verification round. Now, if you are not able to show them the EWS certificate then your seat will be cancelled and your category is updated to General category and you'll be moved to next round with General category. Hope this will help you.
ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!

Dear aspirant,
As you have secured 52k rank in JEE mains and taking into consideration that you belong to obc category so let me tell you that it's difficult to crack ece branch in good nits like Jamshedpur, durgapur, Silchar, allahabad, rourkela, Calicut in this rank.
But you can hope for lower branches like chemical, production, metallurgy , textile in nit jalandhar and other non core in lower nits like Agartala, sringar, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya.
Various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
