Kashish Saxena 7th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

As per the previous year cutoffs, there are fair good chances for you securing a government seat in private medical colleges in Karnataka in your category. Some private medical colleges you can consider in Karnataka are:

  • Dr. B R Ambedkar Medical College, Banglore
  • Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences, Banglore
  • M S Ramaiah Medical College, Banglore
  • Khwaja Bande Nawaz Institute of Medical Sciences, Gulbarga
  • Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Banglore
  • A J Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore

But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students participated in counselling and number of students attempted exam, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. During NEET counseling ( all India )overall rank is considered or its the category rank been considered, for reserved category students in 2021 ?I am OBC candidate

Isha Sheikh 25th Nov, 2021

Hello Geetha,

During the NEET counselling process, if you are applying through the All India Quota (AIQ), then the All India Rank (AIR) is always considered. Even at the time of seat allotment, only the All India Rank will be considered. But if you have applied through the reserved category-OBC, then the category rank will be considered.

All the best!

I am an OBC candidate I scored 400 marks in neet 2021 shall I get a veterinary seat in a government college?

Aniqa zena 3rd Nov, 2021
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. Yes obviously there are chances for you to get government seat for veterinary with 400 marks. In obc category you need score 360- 400+ in 85% state quota.
Since you didn't mention the name of your state it is difficult to predict college.

Although getting government seat for veterinary depends upon various factors like number of students appeared in the exam, category, region, AIQ rank, state, state rank, etc.

Hello student

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that at your marks your chances are very low of getting seat in government catgeory as cut off generally goes above 450 in government colleges and even in private colleges their are very less chances as cut off for private colleges also goes above 350. I would suggest you to start preparing for next attempt
