Jee mains 2022 crl rank= 139560 obc ncl rank = 42595 Domicile state= Madhya Pradesh category= obc Can I get CSE/IT/ECE in IET DAVV or SGSITS Indore campus ????

Sevit Kar 22nd Aug, 2022

Hello,

As per your rank is concerned I would like to tell you that you have more chances to get sgsits Indore. Th branch that you will get here is Electronics, electrical or mechanical branch depending upon your rank in the list.

Some conditions are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

I would advise you to kindly keep other private colleges as a backup such as VIT Vellore, SRM University, Manipal University, BITS Pilani.

sir, I am getting 85 marks in jee mains 2022 june 25 shift 1 paper. what would be my expected percentile.... will i able to clear the cutoff. I am an obc candidate.

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict JEE mains qualifying cutoff to be eligible for JEE advanced examination as it keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

*******number of students that appeared in the  jee main exam,

*******kind of marks obtained by them ,

*******toughness level of the jee main examination for different shift etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then,

Minimum percentile in jee main 2021 to qualify it to be eligible for jee advanced  is given below :-

--------) general :-87.8992241 percentile

--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile

--------) OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile

--------) SC :- 46.8825338 percentile

--------) ST:- 34.6728999 percentile

--------) PWD :- 0.0096375 percentile

You can check the same at our page the link is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

So, to be on the safer side, you need to target at least around 68 + percentile to qualify jee main 2022 if you are from obc ncl category

Now,

>>>>>>>> With 85 marks

--------------------) your percentile will be roughly around 89.84 - 92.7 considering paper of moderate level  as per our JEE main rank predictor at:- https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Thus, yes you have very good chance to qualify jee main and be eligible for jee advanced

I am an OBC candidate then how many marks will I require to qualify for JEE Mains 2022?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 4th Jul, 2022

Hi

Making  prediction is difficult as  cutoff  depends upon various factors like :-

----------------------------) number of students/ candidates  that appeared in the  jee main exam,

---------------------------) jee main examination difficulty level.

---------------------------) the category you belong etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then,

Minimum percentile in jee main 2021 to qualify it to be eligible for jee advanced  is given below :-

--------) general :-87.8992241 percentile

--------) EWS:- 66.2214845 percentile

--------) OBC-NCL :- 68.0234447 percentile

--------) SC :- 46.8825338 percentile

--------) ST:- 34.6728999 percentile

--------) PWD :- 0.0096375 percentile

You can check the same at our page the link is provided below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

So, to be on the safer side, you need to target at least around 70 percentile to qualify jee main 2022 if you are from obc category which is roughly around 45 marks considering moderate level paper.

Rehmatunnisa 4th Jul, 2022

Good Morning

Hope you are absolutely fine, as per your query from 98 marks in JEE Main 2022 your percentile would be around 93.05600452 -93.89928202 and your rank will be in the range of 76260-66999, In order to take admission in NIT colleges for OBC you may get seat in Non- Technical Branches in average NITs like ECE, EEE, CE etc. for admission in NITs college, you should work more harder because there is huge competition in Top Government colleges.

sir, I am getting 85 marks in jee mains 2022 june 25 shift 1 paper. what would be my expected percentile.... will i able to clear the cutoff. I am an obc candidate.

Anurag Khanna 3rd Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your percentile because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.

So If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the marks mentioned by you in the question your percentile is

>>>>>>>>  expected to be in the range of 89.84 - 92.7 .

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank and percentile :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

Note that the percentile which is predicted is only the expected percentile on the basis of previous year's data so your actual percentile might vary depending upon current factors.

On such percentile range and being an OBC candidate you have very good chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main score or rank you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!
