Hello, In BJB Autonomous College(Bhubaneshwar) Core Subject will have 14 papers, each carrying 100 marks( 60 Marks for End Semester Theory, and 15 Marks for Mid Semester Theory and 25 Marks assigned to Practicals). In 2019, under State Quota an All India Rank of 12467 secured a seat in SCB Medical College under General Category. This was a State rank of 276. This loosely converts to 580-590. Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So for a seat in SCB Medical College through NEET 2020, you should target atleast 600-625. This year the competition is expected to be higher and so the cut offs might increase. So you need to be prepared.
Hello,
Cut off depends on the college and it is different for each college and it is depending on number of candidates applied, number of seats available, highest score etc. In 2019 a candidate with AIR 510718 which is approximately 486-496 marks belonging to general pwd secured seat in SCB Medical College Cuttack and a candidate with AIR 31348 which is approximately 530-540 marks belonging to general pwd secured seat in government medical college and hospital, Balasore. So this is how cut off varies. You need to score minimum 500 marks to have decent chances of getting seat in a GMC in Odisha. Cut off may increase or decrease.
