Sir I have scored 512 marks and AI rank for is 74561 and General rank is 26927. What are the chances of getting seats for MBBS or BDS in Odisha

Aniket Das 27th Nov, 2021

With 512 you seem to have a fair chance but it depends a lot on your state. The marks required to get admission in a medical college through NEET varies a lot according to your category and quota. The cut off varies a lot in different states under the State quota and well the All India quota. Hence your category, state etc would determine the marks required by you to a lot of extent. But according to the previous year trends, for admission in a government medical college under the State quota a score above 510 would safe.

I got 304 marks in neet . I am from general category. can I get in IMS odisha?

Aniket Das 14th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks/rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year. As you mention with 304 marks and from general category it is very difficult to get seat in IMS Odisha because as per previous year the cuttoff is high..

I have scored 49.1655297 percentile for 135 Marks in NEET 2021 and my category rank is 93920 and AIR is 781934 under sc category of odisha , whether may I eligible for a govt. seat in odisha...Request to guide me sir/madam..

Kashish Saxena 5th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

As per the cutoff, you qualify the NEET UG exam and can apply for admission in medical courses. But your score is very less so there is very less probability for you to get admission in private medical colleges even through management quota. You can try for private dental colleges and other medical courses but can't assure you regarding any admission in college.

Also remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff. For more college options at your score you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool:

Is there any medical course or any other science course in ODISHA which can take NEET ST category with 176 marks??

ADRIKA mONDAL 9th Dec, 2021

Hello,

In accordance to your marks in NEET 2021 which is 176 , your corresponding expected rank would be 671419 - 701456 . This could be predicted from https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp . Moreover your chances of getting a government medical college is not possible even if you belong to ST category. So you may try to opt for private medical colleges through management quota or can also try for other courses or streams which may include degree courses , engineering and many more others. Hoping for the best of your future.

To know your better admission possibilities for MBBS, BDS & Ayush programme you can use NEET UG college predictor tool given below.
