Im from Odisha... given neet 2020...I have college leaving-cum-conduct certificate...it notify both college leaving and character or conduct certificate?????I dont have any separate conduct or character certificate....is there any problem from Odisha state mbbs counciling????

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 5th Nov, 2020

If you check the articile https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/odisha-mbbs-counselliing, the documents required for Odisha State Counselling for MBBS/BDS are:

  1. 10th and 12th marks sheets
  2. College leaving certificate
  3. NEET 2020 admit card
  4. NEET 2020 rank card
  5. Domicile certificate if applicable
  6. Category certificate if applicable
  7. PWD certificate if applicable

Your College leaving certificate will have your conduct mentioned in it and so you needn't have both of them separately. This certificate will do. Do not worry about it. For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer .

Hello,

You did not mention your category, so i will be considering you as a general category candidate. You have chances of getting some colleges this time. I will list some of them for you.

  • GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, NALGONDA
  • GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, SURYAPET
  • MALLA REDDY MEDICAL COLLEGE FOR WOMEN,SURARAM,RR

Also you have chances of getting BDS seat.

For a complete list of all the colleges, i will suggest you to use college predictor tool.

And taking drop is completely your decision, if you feel like you can score better than this, you can go for drop, there is nothing wrong in that. In the end what will be seen is how good doctor you are, no one will ask how many attempts you gave. These are lines of one doctor i wont mention his name. But, in the end it is your decision.

Im from Odisha. My AIQ NEET ranking is 93953 and have scored 491.I have Ex service man quota. which colleges I shall opt under AIQ to get a confirmed seat?

Kuheli Sanyal 31st Oct, 2020

Hey,

Last year the cut off for government medical colleges was a rank of 12611 under 15% All India Quota. So based on this, you will not get a government college. However, you can get management quota seats in the following colleges under deemed universities -

  • Sri Siddhartha Academy T Begur
  • BLDE University Bijapur
  • Sri Siddhartha Medical College Tumkur
  • Sri Ramachandra Medical College Chennai
  • Yenepoya Medical College Mangalore

Last year the cut off for Ex serviceman quota in Odisha under 85% State Quota was a rank of 55210. So based on this, you will not get a medical seat under state quota in Odisha. To know more about Odisha cut off, check here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-odisha
