my score is 546 gen from odisha, can i get a seat in private college other than my state ,if yes then how??

handukanika 18th Oct, 2020

Hello,

At a neet score of 546 you have less chances at government institutions as the cut off is high but you can try at private colleges and deemed colleges, Without domicile you will be eligible only for open seats to all under private institutions to all states.

you can easily apply to get into any private medical college in india but however we recommend you to take admission in private medical colleges of karnataka or maharashtra as the fee is quite less there around 6-7 lakes per annum and also they provide with all the latest equipments and facilities required during mbbs course.

Also maharashtra and karnataka have maximum no. Of private colleges in the country so you have more and better options to chose from.

You need to fill the application form of the respective state and then wait for rank list after that awindow for setting up preferance will open.
After setting of preferances the students with high merit will be  alloted colleges according to their prefernces of the colleges.

You can wait for subsequent rounds if you arenot alloted a college or want to hange the college and get into a better one.

You also have chances in BDS colleges too

You  have chances in private colleges too. To know your chances better please use college predictor given below

Is there any chance to get admission in mbbs mark scored 513 in NEET exam-2020 from odisha.

mjaisinghani62 18th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

You haven't mentioned your category hence you will be considered as general category candidate. With 513 marks in NEET you have chances to get a medical seat in odisha but which College you will get depends upon cut off of the college, cut off depends upon number of candidates appeared and qualified in exam, difficulty level of exam and previous years cut off etc .

85% state quota  Cutoff 2019 neet odisha for general Category

College         AIR

SCB Medical College - 12467

MKCG Medical College - 17336

Government medical college ,Balangir 30354

BDS cut off

SCB Medical College 34722

From above observation you can estimate your college

Heena GJ 17th Oct, 2020

Hi Ashish

With this score, your rank would be between 82216-89872.

The cut off for SC category in Odisha colleges:

1. SCB medical college, Kuttack 137129 rank

2. SLN medical college 84956 rank

3. Government medical college 86861 rank

So you have good chances of getting seat

Although cut off varies every year depending upon no of seats available, no of candidates appearing, qualifying, last year's trends.

You still got chances

mjaisinghani62 17th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

With 170 marks even with St Category it is difficult to get seat in government college in odisha . Though it depends upon cut off of the college. Cut off depends upon number of candidates appeared and qualified in exam, difficulty level of exam, previous year's cut off etc.

You may try in MKGC Medical College, Brahmpur

Beer Surendra said Institute of Medical Sciences and research , Burla

sir i am st category student i got 289 in neet 2020 . can i get govt seat in odisha??

Nandhini Student Expert 21st Oct, 2020

Hello student,

With a score of 289, your predicted all india rank is above 3 lakhs. Last year, a rank of around 2 lakhs is required to secure a seat in the MKCG medical college in odisha in st category. Thus, getting a seat in the govenrment medical colleges is nearly impossible based on your score.

Yet, ranks and scores vary each year depending on state quotas, difficulty level of the question paper and so on. However, you can also predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the below mentioned link:

Hi.

Cutoff rank for IMS & SUM Medical college, Odisha is as follows:

Since you did not tell you rank, i can only estimate it to be in the range 45023-51086 and since you have sufficient rank, you will be able to get a seat in MBBS in this medical college.
