As you are from general category you may get a seat in government college through state quota as there is 85% quota for state level seats. You didn't mentioned you category. Without knowing category it's bit difficult to provide you the exact information. If you belong to UR(unreserved category) you have equal chances for getting a seat or may not. As you want admission in government colleges, cutoffs for government colleges will be higher. But you can easily get a seat in private colleges even if you belong to general category.
