priyaankasarkar Student Expert 22nd Oct, 2020

Rajesh, PWD is a horizontal reservation within your Category. For example, lets say you belong to OBC Category and you have PWD reservation. You become eligible for OBC-PWD reservation. Ad the cut offs are different for each Category. And we need the Category you belong to. Nevertheless, for a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer .

i am a sebc category holder in odisha.can i apply for obc Ncl in Neet.my fathers income is also lower than 1lpa.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Oct, 2020

If you belong to OBC, the community you belong to should be listed in the Central OBC list and then you can claim OBC reservation at the Centre and SEBC reservation in State Counselling. This is because, SEBC is a State level reservation and is not listed in the NEET application form. To check if the Community you belong to is listed in the Central OBC list, please check: http://www.ncbc.nic.in/user_panel/GazetteResolution.aspx?Value=mPICjsL1aLs9KFQF7Vtb%2fnFssWGD%2fStdd0AoHuDmMlE1cjWi2dtJRwAnui0pITyJ

my neet score 592 , rank 23556...any chance for govt seat in Odisha under state quata belong to general category ????...?please any one have idea so please reply

Anurag Khanna 17th Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

So on such rank and category you have good chances of getting Government medical colleges in Odisha under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

  • PRM Medical College & Hospital, Baripada
  • S L N Medical College & Hospital, Koraput
  • Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Balasore
  • Govt. Medical College, Balangir

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-odisha

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Kuheli Sanyal 24th Oct, 2020

Hey,

Since you did not mention your category, I am assuming you are of general category.

Last year the cut off for government medical colleges under 85% State Quota of Odisha was a rank of 31348. So based on this, it is difficult for you to get a government medical college in Odisha. To know more about Odisha cut off, check here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-odisha . Hello ,

Congratulations for the good score. For getting admision into the top medical college you need to score more than 650+ marks . As you are from general category you may get a seat in government college through state quota as there is 85% quota for state level seats. But you may have a chance at AIQ quota too if you have amy desired college to get admission for medical seat.

i got 577 in neet 2020 and rank 31987 can i get a government mbbs seat in odisha or anywhere??

iammohdshareef 25th Oct, 2020

You didn't mentioned you category. Without knowing category it's bit difficult to provide you the exact information. If you belong to UR(unreserved category) you have equal chances for getting a seat or may not. As you want admission in government colleges, cutoffs for government colleges will be higher. But you can easily get a seat in private colleges even if you belong to general category.

Here I'm adding a link of college predictor which will help you to find out college based on your marks

I have secured 164 marks in NEET 2020 odisha state and SC category can I get A bams or bhms seat in any govt colleges in odisha

Anurag Khanna 21st Oct, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

On such marks you have no chance to get any of the government college in Odisha under state quota even as you can just qualify NEET 2020 on these marks. So I would recommend you to either go for direct admission provided that you must have appeared in NEET Counselling and unable to secure any seat through it or take a drop and prepare for NEET 2021 and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

how much reservation for green card holder in odisha state in 85% quota ? another question what mean of ES quota in odisha ?

samarpit das 16th Oct, 2020

Hello aspirant

Green Card quota was put in effect by the Government of Odisha in the year 1983.Basically under Green Card 5% of seats are reserved in any college that participates in OJEE(both SGFTI and Private).

The ES or Ex Servicemen quota(in this context) means wards of Ex-Servicemen.Roughly an "ex-serviceman" means a person, who has served in any rank (whether as a com- batant or as non-combatant), in the Armed Forces of the Union, including the. Armed Forces of the former Indian States, but excluding the Assam Rifles. Defence. Security Corps, General Reserve Engineering Force. For the detailed definition you can go through the link below-

https://dopt.gov.in/sites/default/files/ch-23.pdf

Under OJEE 3% of seats are reserved under the ES quota.

You can go through the link below and check all the reservations under OJEE-

Hope this will solve your problem
