mbbs paid seats in odisha ? if my cat. is general. score-454 in NEET-20

Shefadaar 25th Sep, 2020

Hello!

I guess you are asking for Private Medical Colleges where seats are distributed under management quota.

I would like to tell you that, Hi-Tech Medical College, Bhubaneswar had a cut off score of 491 in NEET 2019.

Since, your score is 454 out of 720 and you belong to general category, it's difficult to say whether you will get a seat or not.

For further assistance on expected colleges on the basis of your NEET score, use this college predictor.

does odisha have obc category in ojee counseling or they come under general?

Tapas Kumar Singh 25th Sep, 2020
Hello dear student

There are no any reservations for the obc category so obc under the general category you can apply for the counselling as general category.
Also some college of Odisha counselling according jee main rank.
So if you have good rank compares to ojee , than you can try through jee main.

I have got cse branch 2nd shift in National Institute of science and technology berhampur odisha through ojee... can anyone plz tell me about this college... like placements and everything... is this college good Or bad???

Anirudh Singh 3rd Nov, 2020

Hi.

First of all it is strongly recommended that you have knowledge about the institute prior to locking in the choices.

As far as NIST is concerned, it was a college will good research facility, academic-industries tie up, recreational facility such as grounds for various physical games are available, medical facility provided, and a lot more.. which you can read on their official website (http://www.nist.edu/about/nistataglance.html)

Although it has a median placement package of 3 LPA for Engineering and 2.6 LPA for Architecture. You can make a better choice if you have peer reviews from alumni or students of that college which you can read on this page .

I have ranked 318993 in JEE main under general category, can i get seat in Odisha govt college

samarthmishrakhurai 24th Sep, 2020
Hello Dear,
It is very difficult to get admission in government colleges with this rank. Because the admission in government colleges is based on the cut off and cut off changes every year. Your rank is not enough to get admission in government colleges but there is some probability if the seat is vacant after the counselling. You give JEE main so you are eligible for Jossa counselling.Do your  josaa counselling and firstly fill those colleges in which you think to take admission. Jossa counselling is started from 6 Oct 2020.

Last year the cut off for government medical colleges under 85% State Quota in Odisha was a rank of 256923 for ST category. So, based on it, you have tough chances of getting a seat under 85% State Quota in Odisha. To know more about Odisha cut off, check here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-odisha

how can I know my selection in different self finansing college in integrated bed of different colleges in odisha, after submission of application form.

theeanonymous 23rd Sep, 2020

Hello Narayan,

It would be easier to answer if you had mentioned in specific which college you are talking about. In general the selection is either based on 10th and 12th marks aggregate or purely entrance based. So if you have applied under merit the respective college may either release a merit list or you may have to contact htem directly to know about the result. I f it is entrance based and if you have qualified then they will call you for interview andc based on that final selection will be decided.

Hope it helps
