HOW MUCH MINIMUM MARKS (AIR) WAS REQUIRED TO GET BAMS GOVT CLG VIA 15% AIQ AYUSH COUNSELLING??? WHAT IS THE MINIMUM MARKS (AIR) REQUIRED TO GET BAMS IN ODISHA GOVT COLLEGE UNDER 85% STATE QUOTA AS PER NEET 2019????

Swetha N 16th Oct, 2020

Hello dear,

As you did not mentioned which category you belong to, it is difficult to predict.

But definitely you need to have above 450 marks to secure a AYUSH seat through AIQ (considering you as general category student).

Even for state quota, you can consider 450 as a safe score to get into good govt. BAMS college.

But you asked for minimum marks(cut off) and that is difficult to predict as it keep changing every year based on various factors.

If you belong to gen category and want a seat in govt. BAMS college then your minimum required marks will be above 420.If you have reservations then 380 above works fine.

You can try in private BAMS colleges which also require marks above 350 .

If you can afford you can go for admission in Central/National universities or management quota in private colleges. These seats you can get even if you do not hold good marks.

Hope you found this helpful.

All the best!

Dear Aspirant,

Firstly congrats for such a good score in NEET.These score will surely give you a government medical seat in Odisha through state level quota. As per last years cutoff 560 was considered a safe score to get medical seat through All India Quota. So you have both the chances. Some of the expected colleges with your score in Odisha are:

1.SCB Medical college, Cuttack

2.MKCG Medical college, Berhampur

3.Veer Surendra Sai Institute of medical science and research, Burla

4.PT Raghaunath Murmu medical college and hospital, Baripada

5.SLN Medical college and hospital, Koraput

So these are all the expected colleges through state level quota for your score.

I got 463 , category SC rank:6278 and AIR:119265 from Odisha. may i get a government college or not from 85% quota.

theeanonymous 22nd Oct, 2020

Hello Hemanta,

For the state counselling process your state rank will be assigned based on your All India Rank in NEET . Since you belong to SC category , you may have chances for government seat through state counselling but through all India quota it is difficult. Since this year the cutoffs have increased a safe score for your category would be 450+ and a rank below 1 lakh but however you may attend the state counselling , you may have a chance in the second round.

Checkout the previous year cutoffs :
