Rishita hari 22nd Sep, 2020

Hello student

As you have already mentioned that you are from general category and in NEET 2020 you have calculated the score of about 564, so your rank is probably 18281-20431 all India. To know more use this rand predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

Now, the college you have mentioned that is VSS medical college, burla, sambalpur in odisha, by reviewing last year's records the cut off was rank 20,000 nearly in all india quota and about 500 in OJEE state quota. So, there seems a fair chance of you to get into that college. Now follow this link to know more about this year's cut off and college probability https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-odisha

I am from odisha, general catagory my score is 564 will i get medical college in odisha

Anurag Khanna 21st Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See it is little bit difficult to predict exactly whether you get any particular medical college or not because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also, cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

But although according to the marks you have mentioned in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 18281 - 20431 and on the basis of this rank and category you have chances of getting into some Private Colleges and Deemed Universities as well as Government Medical Colleges under state quota according to previous year's cut-offs which you can check out from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-odisha

Last year the maximum closing rank was 38,934 for Hi-Tech Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar under Home State quota for General category.

To have a list of those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

my jee mains paper 2 CRL rank is 56066 and my category rank is 4628 and my NTA score is 59.64something and I am from sc category from Jharkhand, may I get any nits like nit Patna, nits in Odisha and in bit meshra

SANKET GHOSH 21st Sep, 2020

Hi Amit,

So, as per the information provided by you , that your CRL is 56066 and SC Category Rank is 4628.

See, at present it is very difficult to predict whether you will get any NITs/GFTIs with this rank since the counselling as not yet started and the Round 1 results are not yet out.

Now, as per previous trends it seems not possible for you to get Into Any NITs since they offer a very higher cutoffs which usually hangs around  400-500(Max 900 for HS Students in SC Category). Check out the cutoffs of various NITs from this link below

Good Evening Sir, expected score in NEET 2020 would be 504, I have Green Card Quota, Can I get one MBBDS seat in Govt Medical College in Odisha? Plz advice.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 20th Sep, 2020

Green Card Quota falls under NRI Category. And speaking about Odisha, There are 12 Medical Colleges in Odisha out of which 8 are Government Medical Colleges. And among the 4 remaining Colleges, KIIT is a Deemed University. And only 2 Private Medical Colleges offer NRI quota. And this number is 35. And all the 8 GMCs offer admission only to Indian Nationals. And so if you have a Green Card, you will be considered under NRI Category and so cannot participate in Odisha State Counselling for Government Medical Colleges. You can only try for a seat in a Private Medical College under NRI Category.

hello sir,i am Amrita nayak frm Bhadrak , odisha, now i am bsc finallier in chemistry hons and gave 6 th semester this yrr but due to covid our last paper has postponed, but one problem is sir,i miss my 5 th semester exam due to my bad health condition ,is it possible to apply ibps po or clerk form ?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 11th Aug, 2020

Hello,

Candidates who have passed their bachelor's degree from a recognised board and candidates who are in their final year of qualifying exam are eligible to apply for IBPS PO 2020. Candidates who are in their final year must obtain their results on or before August 28, 2020. You still need to appear in one exam in 6th semester and you still have to pass in the subjects of 5th semester. Your results might not be released on or before August 28, 2020. So you are not eligible to apply for it. But if you obtain your results by August 28, 2020 you can apply if you pass your bachelor's degree
