I have scored 89.90 percentile in mba cet and I am. from nt-c category which top college in mumbai i can get

Akansha Sharma 11th May, 2025

With a 89.90 percentile in MBA CET and being from the NT-C category, you can expect to get admission in good colleges in Mumbai. Some of the top options include Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), SIES College of Management Studies (SIESCOMS), NMIMS Mumbai, and PUMBA (Department of Management Sciences, Pune University). While your chances at JBIMS might be lower, other institutes should be more accessible based on your percentile and category. Always check the specific cutoffs for each college.

Is it ok even if fill just 1 choice in mba cet cap rounds?

Rajeswari Dey 19th Apr, 2025

Hi aspirant,

It is possible to select only one option in the MBA CET CAP rounds, however numerous choices are strongly encouraged.
The system will try to assign you to the highest recommended college among your options if you make the cutoff and a space is available.

As a result, while the system only allows you to select one option, it drastically diminishes your odds of getting into the college of your choice. Filling many genuine preferences is a far more secure and strategic strategy.

Before selecting a single option, carefully analyze your options and the potential implications.  For the latest up-to-date guidelines, consult the official CAP round rules and information pamphlet.

All the best!

Hello Aspirant

The ideal time to start preparing for the CAT exam is during your second year of BMS.

Here's why:

  • Early Start, Significant Advantage: Beginning your preparation early gives you ample time to build a strong foundation in all sections.
