akashkumarpati.2000 21st Sep, 2020

Hey,

Regarding your query, at first I would like to inform you that without officially released cut-off marks of top and eminent NITs for this year by NTA ( National Testing Agency), we can't make any accurate statement about the precise cut-off marks of any NIT.

So we have to go for the previous year's cut-off details in this regard. Hence I want to recommend you to go through the following article: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-nits

After thorough analysation of the above provided link, it should be quite clear for you also that since you're an EWS candidate, you've enough probablity of getting admission in top departments of several renowned NITs like NIT Rourkela, NIT Calicut, NIT Agartala, NIT Durgapur, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Hamirpur etc with this marks and rank.

You can also predict your admission chances in your preferable institutions in JOSSA and State Level Counseling through the Careers360 JEE MAIN college predictor tool:

I checked the opening and closing rank of 2019 om the uptu website. lets say the closing rank for OBGL category for a course in IET is 4001 so, a person with 4000 rank (general), will they take this rank for OPGL category or a person who has 4000 female rank, will they take this rank for OPGL categ

Anuj More 29th Oct, 2020

Dear Candidate,

The ranks for various categories differ from each other. Colleges have different closing ranks for different categories. As per your doubt, you may or may not get admission based on the last year's rank. It is just an estimate & many factors come into consideration before actually saying about the closing rank.

Hope this helps.

what is the average package of MBA in operations management. What is the scope of MBA in operations.

Shivani sunil kakde 17th Sep, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Operational management makes you skilled in process analysis, productivity, responsiveness, quality and product variety and thereafter you can enter in any of these functions of the manufacturing firm,as a professional.

The program exposes management students towards tackling the challenges in logistics, supply chain design and supply chain management. It also develops a skill of continuous looking for ways and means to make operating system or process more efficient to use.

The average salary totally depends on the college,in which college are you doing your MBA but the average package for operations management is approx 8-9 LPA.

Thank you

i am getting 480 marks in neet 2020 and from j&k OM... will i get any chances in govt medical colleges??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 23rd Oct, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then you do hold a chance ,

For example,

in neet  2019, 476 marks for general category get a seat in Government Medical College, Rajouri under Jammu and Kashmir state quota

So, with 480 marks    you hold  a  chance in a Government Medical College under Jammu and Kashmir state quota

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and
to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling
