The Entrance examination for admission into M.Sc ( Math / applied math and statistics - OR ) is based on the written test.
The written test consists of objective type questions only . candidates are expected to have a knowledge of B.Sc level general chemistry and basic mathematics also . the question paper consists of two parts :
Part A : 25 marks and Part B : 75 marks . There will be negative marking for each of the wrong answers.
Coming to books : " Mathematics for all Indian universities MSc/ MA Khanna publications is the best book to refer.
