Ophthalmology
Hello Aspirant,
As you haven't mentioned for which college you are asking this question I am telling you the average fee which is INR 54,000 - 18 L per annum. I hope you have an overview. But it depends on your college the exact fee.
Good Luck
Going by previous All India cut offs and your rank you may have decent chances in the following Medical Colleges:
T.D. Medical College: Pharmacology
Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences: General Surgery
GMC, Thrissur: ENT
GMC, Thiruvanantapuram: Physiology
Opthamology is tad tough with this rank. Having said that, this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, difficulty of the exam, and no.of seats available for each specialisation. Dhivya, you haven't mentioned the College you are enquiring about. Can you please help us with that? And irrespective of the State you are posted in, we do have English or Hindi as common languages across India and you should be fine. Agreed that in the initial days you might find it difficult to communicate in a local language but because you would be having your classmates who belong to the local State you might find them helpful. And to add on, due to Corona, the NEET PG counselling has been postponed. So this is the time to pick up few words and learn the language if you want to get into that College.
According to last year cut offs, for ENT, you have a chance in Dharbhanga Medical College. For Opthamology with this rank, you cannot get a Government College. You can get a PG Diploma seat in Santosh Medical College. This is a Private College. You can get a seat in MD Raadiology in Shree Balaji Medical College. This is all based on previous cut offs. But cut offs also change every year. To check options for your home state, check our college predictor:
