As of now there has been no updates regarding admission process for 2020, due to the pandemic entire academic schedules are being revised, usually admission process begins from the month of May-June onwards but this year things are quite different also there's further extension of lockdown,we cannot assume exactly

Hello student no its not compulsory to passed class 12th from cbse board as eligibility criteria says - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 from any stream with minimum 50 percent marks from CBSE or a recognized board equivalent to cbse.

To be very honest it may cause some trouble but if you have reported to your institute as early as possible then it is modifiable.
