Pathology
Hello, To open a pathology lab you need to be a certified pathologist, then get an license to practice as a pathologist. In addition to this you or the person working as lab pathologist should at least have a degree or diploma in MLT (medical lab technology). For staff members you need a pathologist, lab technician, assistant with good knowledge of diagnosis and treatment and well trained. All the best.
Hello aspirant,
You can open if you are financially capable but it won't be a legal unless you have a Pathologist with you, because it has become medicolegally compulsory to validate the pathology reports with a Pathologist's sign. As a technician you cannot have your sign on the reports.
Hope it helps you..
Best of luck..

Hey,
According to the Allotment result of DNB Post MBBS Courseling ( Round One ), the last rank under general category to get Pathology was 28053. The institution was Vivekananda Polyclinic and Institute of Medical Sciences Vivekananda puram , Lucknow. So based on this, there is little chance for you to get a seat. Keep in mind that this is based on previous year data and cut offs are subject to vafy every year depending on the number of seats available, performance of the students and difficult level of the paper.
Hi Sukhmani,
The cutoff ranks for MD in general category as compared to the last year, at maximum is around 10,000 and I see that your's is 44993 , so it is really tough to get a seat in a government college . However according to your preference you can opt for private colleges through management quota.
Further you can check the following link to check a college according to your choice : https://medicine.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-private-medical-colleges-in-india-accepting-neet-pg
I hope the information helps.
Hi Vindhya,
It is difficult to predict because cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like category, number of students appeared in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, number of seats available, etc.
You have not mentioned the Category you belongs to so I'm considering it as General Category and giving information based on it. It is difficult to get DNB Pathology seat in good for your NEET PG Rank Colleges based on previous year's Closing Ranks. So, you can also try for Management quota seats in good Private Medical Colleges.
To check the possibility of getting DNB Pathology seat, you can use below mentioned College Predictor Tool.
