do we have to take one printout of pessat hall ticket or more than one? and are shoes allowed in oessat exam centre

Hello,

You just have to carry one printed hall ticket in the exam hall. Other do's and don't include :

Candidates should not carry any pen, pencil or paper as all these things will be provided inside the exam hall.
Before starting the exam, instructions will appear on the computer screen. Candidates are advised to read these carefully so that they can know how to operate the exam.

You can wear shoes, there is no rulwle regarding attire.

i have downloaded my hall ticket for pessat 2021 but there is no roll no and hall ticket no mentioned. i want to ask that the above two things are same or ot not? in xase they are same so where to find my roll no/hall ticket no

Hello,

The roll number and hall ticket number are both same. Basically, Hall ticket number or the roll number tells us the sequence number where we are to be seated in the examination hall or in the sequence our papers will get checked once the paper is done. So, there is no difference between hall ticket and roll number.

Dear aspirant,

Yes, you can attempt PESSAT examination,2021. Last date to apply is 25th July, 2021. Eligibility criteria for applying is that the candidate should score minimum 60% marks in twelfth and should have studied physics and mathematics along with chemistry/computer science/biology. The exam will be held from July 30 to August 20,2021. Results will be announced on August 25th, 2021.

hello! gave PESSAT 2021 and got 4300 as my rank. Is there a chance I can get ECE?

Hello

You have no chances to get Electronics and Communication Engineering in Ring Road campus through PESSAT as this is the most preferred campus. Usually the seats for ECE branch gets filled around a rank of 2000. As your rank is 4300 you don't have chances to get a seat in ECE branch.
With your rank you can try for other branches like Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

i got 8k in PESSAT 2021 but they called me for 1st round counselling?Will i get seat in PES university for Biotechnology?

As per the previous year trends, you have high chances of getting the following branches : Biotechnology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering at PES University, Bangalore. The closing rank for Biotechnology is generally around 8500.

With this rank, your chances for computer science and ECE seems low but you can try for other branches like Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, etc. Previous year closing ranks for various branches is as follows :
1. Computer Science & Engineering- 1094
2. Electronics & Communication Engineering- 5159
3. Electrical & Electronics Engineering - 8265
4. Biotechnology Engineering- 8484
5. Mechanical Engineering- 22291
6. Civil Engineering- 22714
