how can i apply for job in USA as petroleum engineer?

Vipul Chaudhary 25th Sep, 2020

Hi there!

Probably the best bet is to seek out positions at an American company doing business in your area: Chevron, Exxon, Schlumberger, KBR, Halliburton, etc. Once you have worked there for a bit, you can either transfer internally to the US or float your resume to friends who now know you in other companies.

Good Luck.

The salary of a petroleum engineer depends on various factors. For companies like ONGC, OIL in starting you can expect around INR 60000 per month. Companies like Shell, Weatherford offer a lump sum amount approx INR 80000 to 90000 per month.
