I think you forgot to mention the name of college or university you are referring to.

want to know all about md pharmacology

Hello,

MD pharmacology is a three years postgraduate Pharmacy course, the study of drugs, drug action, where drugs can be used etc. Is being taught to the students, students study  clinical and other basic science related to Pharmacology.

1. The basic eligibility criteria to get admission in same  is that the candidate must have completed their MBBS.

2. The admission is both merit based and entrance based, depends from college to college.

3. The jobs profile that one can get after completing the course are Senior Manager, Medical Advisor, Faculty Assistant Manager, Direct Marketing manager, Pharmacology professor etc.

4. The average course fee of the same is from 10,000 to 10 lacs, Varies from college to college.

5. The average starting salary for the same is from INR 2 lacs to 15 lacs.

Is it a good option to take up MD Pharmacology in BHU for postgraduation ? Since you dont really need clinical exposure for this field. Or will KGMU be a better option for Pharmacology ?

Yes, you can choose IIT BHU for pursuing Pharmacology and one important thing is that IIT BHU is rated quite high for the course so you can definitely opt to study in BHU.

Ph.D. in Pharmacology is a 3 to 5-year doctorate course. Minimum eligibility requirement of this course is a successful completion of post-graduation in Pharmacology from a recognized university.
