hello there
the salary of an individual depends upon the job title and the institution so nobody can tell you the exact figures .the salary for an aerospace engineer is good in india and you can expect 5-6 lacs per annum in india but for that you need to have a b.tech degree .but since you have mentioned you want to be a scientist or you want to go in the research area, you can expect 45-60k per month from any government firm .a professor is somewhat like a scientist so try looking for the job prospectus of a professor in india also
best wishes
Hi Lucky,
Some of the best colleges in India for PhD in Structural Engineering includes :-
Hi,
I would like to tell you that you can even do PhD from any other top IITs or even top NITs as it is not necessary to do from IITD or IITB. There are many other best IITs and NITs such as IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, NIT Calicut, NIT Trichy etc. So you can do PhD from any of these institutes. Hope this will solve your query.
hello there!
Yes of course.
You can persue PhD right after the BSc degree. But one has to be extremely good at basics of the undergraduate syllabus. He/She must have read the standard books written by well known authors.
This will definitely help facing the entrance exam conducted by the institutes.doing a masters degree will give you an overview on what PhD might look like. That will also help you in getting you plans sorted whether you really want to do PhD or not. Going for PhD soon after your bachelors degree might be difficult because the study patterns very much differ.
One can check the websites of IISc Bengaluru and TIFR Mumbai for these integrated PhD programs.
As of I know these are two prestigious institutes which offers integrated PhD programs in India.
All the best.
Hey Hrushikesh
You can do a phd in physics after doing a Mphysics or MSci from UK. If you want to get a PhD position you just have to graduate from a recognised university (The college in US should know of your college in UK) and you should meet the eligibility criteria of the respective college(as most colleges in US have different eligibility criterias). All the best!
Hello Abhishek swami, Short answer, for the most part, YES you can , but there are always few exceptions! There is lot of confusing among students that you need to have Masters or have done MS for applying to PhD . But, the reality is it is in fact a good idea to apply for PhD directly after B. tech or Bachelors degree
hope it is helpful for you :)
