PhD Admission is usually done through entrance exam conducted by the university, however if you're qualified NET(for which the basic eligibility is passed Master's Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university with 55% aggregate, in case of reserved category there's relaxation of 5%), in many a cases there's a requirement to submit research proposal which is further analysed by the department and accordingly a supervisor is assigned to the selected candidates. Hello aspirant,
As an undergraduate, computer science programs often require a strong background in math and science, and many schools also mandate that students complete some coursework in engineering. Students can earn a Bachelor of Science, Arts, or a Bachelors of Applied Science when studying computer science.
Topics of study for a PhD in Computer Science may include information security, database systems, compilers, software engineering, and computational theory. For a PhD in Computer Science, research is usually conducted closely with faculty while candidates work towards completing their dissertation.
Thankyou
hi,
see since there is no batches till passed from this institute it would be best if you go for some of the other institute, even if it is a part on xaviour university, some times placement is no great in all courses of the same university. before taking admission to any college , college reviews by students, placement records matters most. if it would be an govt. institute I may suggest you to go, but since it is private and fees structure is quite high in private organization, ao before Investing your money and time you have to think wisely. try to get admission in tier 1 colleges where is decent placement record.
hope it would help.
