Physical Education
Dear student,
If you wish to take admission in college which requires maths as a subject in 12 standard, then the percentage will be counted with maths or else if it is not mandatory , then you have got the benefit of 6th subject.
So you can then replace 5th subject with physical education.
Hope the answer helps.
Best of luck for your future.
Hi aspirant ,
your pcm percentage percent should be at least 75 percent for admission in nit , iiit , iit . for giving jee main there is no percentage criteria . but this year a student with any percent can take admission in iit , nit , iiit . iit has given exemption from 75 percent criteria in class 12th this year.
Dear Student,
It depends on which board you are reading. But nowadays the rules of that condition is, in which subjects you will get marks the best ones, that will be your counted and best subjects. And the other one will be your additional subject.
Thank you.
Hey Sourabh
For taking admission in Commerce stream you need to calculate your best four subjects by taking english along with maths, business studies and commerce (for no marks to be deducted , you can also check out lest C1 for DU https://university.careers360.com/articles/delhi-university-admissions-how-calculate-best-of-four-marks ) or you can take any one of IP,Business mathematics,Legal studies etc (list c2) with a deduction of 1% for each subject taken.
If you take physical education your marks will be deducted as per 2.5% deduction rule. So, you should not add physical education (according to me) if you are not ready to lose 2.5% out of your total percentage.
Hello,
Yes, there will be a deduction in the percentage. Please check the best of four calculation criteria for B.Com (//B.Com) in Delhi University
Physical Education is not listed in list B. So if you include that subject then there will be a deduction of 1% upto 2% depending on number of subjects which you have considered which are not in list B.

NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS,BDS, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India and also abroad. So to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th. So if you look at it, Physical Education is not a mandatory subject to study MBBS both in India and abroad. So it depends on the course that you want to study abroad. Physical Education is only a mandatory subject only to pursue a course that involves Physical Education and Coaching and not for all courses.
