You can write the KVPY exam but your criteria does not fit into the eligibility criteria for KVPY .So dont waste your efforts by giving this exam

No, It is not mandatory to have a sports certificate, however, students who have some experience in sports are given higher priority for admission.
If you have completed class 12, the duration of the course is 3-4 years and the eligibility is to clear 10+2.
If you have completed the graduation and you wish to get admission in BPED, then the duration of the course is 1-2 years.

The calculation of best four differs from course to course and only a few colleges have different method of best four calculation that too for some special courses.
Rest all the colleges have the same procedure for best four calculation. If you want to pursue Science based course then Physical Education won't be counted but for few Humanities course or Music Physical education can be counted.
If you want to your Physical education marks to get counted then they will deduct 2.5% from overall percentage.
