Physical Education
hi,
st joseph university of higher education and research is under mahatma gandhi university cottyam. this college offers 4 years bachelors degree in physical education. however there is no specific marks criteria in 10+2 course for admission in bachelor in physical education courses. the eligibility criteria is you need to pass 10+2 course from a recognized board on any stream. you may follow the below link to know in details.
http://www.stjosephsacademymoolamattom.org/#/courses
The 5 main subjects ie physics chemistry maths English and Hindi will be of 100 marks each and physical education will carry 50 marks. So you will have a total of 550 marks to deal with. And then accordingly depending on your marks from 550 percentage from 100 will be calculated.
Hope this helps. Thank-you.
Hello Darshana, No, i don't think physical education has any role to play in your admission in chemical engineering colleges. Normally most of the engineering colleges take admission through JEE, or their own university level exams. Physical education doesn't play any role anywhere in giving you any advantage in securing a seat.
Hello,
You're eligible for Ground Duty(Non-Technical) Branch if you have passed graduation with 60%, all other post in AFSAT specifically asks for 60% in Maths and Physics at 10+2 level, which I don't think you qualify since you mention that you have completed your 12th Standard in Arts Stream.
Now, coming to CDS, you're eligible for Indian Military Academy with age limit being 19 to 23 and Officer Training Academy with age limit being 19 to 24, other posts ask for either PCM at 10+2 level or graduate in Engineering.
