B.Tech requires the study of Physics and Chemistry as there are many laws, theories, practical knowledge and formulaes required which these subjects impart. Therefore, study of Physics and Chemistry is required while studying B.Tech in any stream.

Khalsa college, patiala is a private college approved by UGC. It has been accredited with an A by NAAC. It is affiliated to Punjab University, patiala. 

Whereas sri Guru granth sahib world university, fatehgarh sahib is a private university apprved by UGC. It is established in 2004.
