Is there any entrance exam for MSc Physics at nit other than JAM?

dear student,

i don't know much about other NITs  but as per my knowledge NIT Trichy conducts its own entrance exam from Msc (Physics, Computer Science and Chemistry). So, if you clear the exam, you can get a set at NIT Trichy.

after completing integrated MSc one can find different technical jobs in public and private sector.

jobs in private sector:

  • job in energy plants
  • jobs in IT companies like, infosys , wipro and CTS.
  • jobs in automobile industries like , maruthi udyog,TATA motors and tech mahendra.

sorry you can not get admission in bsc hons as per the second cut off list. because the minnimu percentage is 85 % for any of the bsc hns in du. so wait for the third cut off. all the best have a great future ahead.

Dear student,
I would like to tell you that with this percentage in class 12th and also as you belong to OBC category you have chances of getting admissioni in bsc physics in DU. Not necessary you will get a top college.But definately you will easily get a good college.

I got 76 in English ,94 in Mathematics,78 in Chemistry, 92 in Physics and 91 in Computer . Can I get a good college from DU for BSC Physics.

Your marks are good.. and you will surely get admission  if you don't get admission in top college .then don't loose hope as you can get admission in average ranked college.

The expected cut off for msc physics in BHU is 257 rank for general category and the cut off marks are 166. So you have very high chances to get admission in this college. Congrats

Hey,
If you are extremely good in maths, then you should pursue this field. It has ample of opportunities in various field of work. And yes, you can pursue BSc Maths after 12th. Some institutes insist on 12th with Science stream, but mostly they do take commerce students with Maths

You can opt for other subjects as electives, or if, you're interested, you can study with focus for a couple of months and you can cover enough ground to study UG level Chemistry or Physics.

Total percentage is required not in PCM only. Total percentage should be greater than 75% in CBSE or Top 20% percentile of other board
