This is dependent on the university/college you are taking admission in. In general for Economics there is a eligibility for Mathematics in case of BA courses also. Now you can take the Political Science course as in most university there are no such boundaries for the BA but for economics

Yes,you definitely stand a chance to get admission in the prestigious university as previous cutoff for general category is 184 and above and you scored more than that. I would like to inform you allahabad university have not released their official cutoff yet for msc physics.
