first of all congratulations for securing a good rank in this exam . The cutoffs vary every year,so the admission possibility usually depends on the demand for the particular course ie., the number of applicants , the number of seats available and the difficulty level of the exam.
for most of the popular msc exams ,physics and maths are necessary requirements but may vary based upon college to college ,so having physics and mathematics in your bachelors might help . in my opinion bsc pcm is better than pme as some topics like particle physics ,solid state physics
