Hello,

As per the NEET 2020 marking scheme, four marks to be awarded for correct answer, while one mark to be deducted for wrong attempt.

So yes, if you done many incorrect questions, it will definitely have effect on the final marks.

Candidates belonging to general category must score minimum 50% aggregate in Biology, Physics and chemistry from a recognised board to be eligible for NEET UG. Also they must have passed in English subject. Since you have scored 52.6% percentage in Biology, Physics and chemistry you are eligible to appear

For getting admission in BSc Research Physics you have to ways:

  1. KVPY
  2. JEE ADVANCED

Via KVPY with good marks after qualifying the interview you will get a fellowship along with a chance to get admission in IISC.

For the second way out you have to qualify in JEE MAINS exam

You didn't mention the course you wish to study so it's not compulsory that 'Best For percentage will apply to every course. For science courses (except mathematics), only science score percentage is taken into consideration so in that case English will not be included.

I have qualified in five subjects (including Physics, Maths, and Biology) and therefore passed 10+2 from AHSEC (Assam State Board) in 2020 but I failed in Chemistry and therefore will be reappearing in all the subjects in 2021 to qualify for JEE. Will my improved Chemistry marks be valid?
