I have interest in Photonics, should I do M.sc Physics or M.sc Photonics? Also, is Manipal Academy for Higher Education good PG in Physics?

Hi Swamesh,

Are you interested in topics like optical science, lasers, optical communications and so? If yes, you can safely venture to pursue photonics.
Having said that, you won't be getting to study the core and major topics of physics apart from properties of light and its interaction with materials.

Hi Aspirant! Since you have six subjects and the percentage is calculated  by considering five subjects with highest/best marks. Therefore, you won't fail as a whole if you fail in physics. But you'll pass the class with one compartment.

Hi Aspirant! A candidate must score minimum 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. The minimum aggregate marks for SC and ST candidates are 45% and 40% respectively.

What if i score 70+ in physics and chemistry but fail in maths, am i elligible for cee??

Hi dear,

According to Assam cee eligibility criteria you have to pass in physics chemistry mathematics and English individually without any grace marks and collecitivec 50%marks in physics chemistry and mathematics.so you are not eligible if you have failed in mathematics.
