Thank you!!
As of 2025, different Indian universities have different requirements for taking the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in order to be admitted to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program. Some universities and colleges have included NEET in their admissions procedures, even though it is not always required for BPT admissions. For instance, while some universities use their own entrance exams or base admissions on Class 12 grades, others may accept NEET scores for BPT admissions. To find out if NEET is required, it's critical to review the particular admission requirements of the universities you are considering.
All the best.
HELLO,
No, there is no requirement of giving NEET exam to get admission in Bachelor of physiotherapy course . The colleges and Universities considers admissions of students based on their results in Class12th board exams or through their own entrance exams if they have .
However some states may have their own entrance exams .

Hey there! An MET score of 89 for allied sciences - BPT (physiotherapy) puts you in a moderate possibility range. But your chances depend upon the no. Of applicants, difficulty of the exam, seat availability and category ( OC, BC, etc). In previous years, BPT programs at Manipal University typically had higher cutoffs often around 100-110 for general category seats. Your chances may be lower in the first round, but you could still get in during later rounds. All the best!
Hii,
There isn't a Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) program offered by Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences. It primarily provides medical courses, including nursing, MD, MS, and MBBS.
You should seek out universities with a physiotherapy department if you wish to pursue MPT. The official website of Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) is https://igims.org .
Hello there,
Please confirm which state(s) or city you're looking for colleges offering the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) course. You earlier mentioned Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu — would you like colleges from all of these states, or just a few?
Once confirmed, I can give you a list of recognized colleges with BPT courses in those locations.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
Hey ,
In Srm college of physiotherapy , placement package rate is quite good and is extending from year to year , so for the previous year the placement highest package goes upto 52lpa which can let you to easily earn upto 2lakhs and much more in a month . And there average packages ranges upto 7.50 LPA thankyou .
With a NEET score of 177, it is unlikely that government college will offer a seat in physiotherapy. Generally speaking, government physiotherapy colleges demand much higher scores 500 - 600 or higher, depending on the state and category. A Neet score of 177 is above the qualifying threshold for some categories, but it is insufficient to gain admission to a government physiotherapy. Although NEET is not mandatory for BPT, there are many colleges who offer admission through merit based or their own exam. You can also try for private colleges.
