Physiotherapy
Hello,
There are very few physiotherapy (BPT) colleges in India that admit students without any entrance exam or NEET. Most good colleges require NEET for admission because it is the standard for medical and allied health courses.
However, some private colleges may offer direct admission based on 12th marks or management quota, but these are limited and may not be very well known or recognised.
If you want a good BPT college, it is better to clear NEET and apply through counselling. Without NEET, choices are very limited.
Hope it helps !
Dear aspirant,
A rank of 36k in EAMCET might potentially allow you to get into physiotherapy but it totally depends on the college, your category and the cut off trends . While a 36,000 rank might be considered average, it is still within the range where some colleges offer physiotherapy programs, especially in private institutions or through management quota seats. Your category and any reservations will play a significant role in determining your eligibility. You can visit this link for more information.
Thank you

Thank you!!
As of 2025, different Indian universities have different requirements for taking the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in order to be admitted to the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) program. Some universities and colleges have included NEET in their admissions procedures, even though it is not always required for BPT admissions. For instance, while some universities use their own entrance exams or base admissions on Class 12 grades, others may accept NEET scores for BPT admissions. To find out if NEET is required, it's critical to review the particular admission requirements of the universities you are considering.
All the best.

Good luck!
Hey there! An MET score of 89 for allied sciences - BPT (physiotherapy) puts you in a moderate possibility range. But your chances depend upon the no. Of applicants, difficulty of the exam, seat availability and category ( OC, BC, etc). In previous years, BPT programs at Manipal University typically had higher cutoffs often around 100-110 for general category seats. Your chances may be lower in the first round, but you could still get in during later rounds. All the best!
