Both CSE and CST as well as Computer Engineering are effectively same and analogous to each other and have a relatable syllabus. Either of the Branches, wont affect your career scope and job prospects during Placements.

Is JIIT Noida sector 62 CSE equivalent to VIT Vellore CSE category 3 in terms of placements? Actually I am from Uttar Pradesh, so if both are equivalent, Can I choose JIIT Noida as my 4-5 lakhs would be saved and it is nearer to home?

Placement in VIT is same for all category students. The only difference in category students is fees they paid. If Money is not constrain, then I would say VIT is better than JIIT in most of the aspects like Placements, Reputation, Oppurtunities etc. However if you want it stay
