Firstly All the best on your preparation for CAT.
The first step to join any B-School is to get a good CAT percentile because majority of the interview calls are sent out basis the Overall CAT percentile subjecting to crossing the sectional cutoffs.
Secondly after you get the interview call, some weightage is given to the 10th, 12th and graduation percentages but as long as your other percentages are good, and the scored in WAT, PI are good , the impact of graduation scores would not be very high. However, some colleges do have a cutoff on minimum graduation percentage and in such cases you may not even receive a call from that B-School.
Post completion of PI an aggregate score is taken and you are provided provisional offer for joining the B-School.
Once you join the B-School , it is almost a level playing field for most of the candidates. You would see that majority of the candidates would have a similar profile like you.
In B-School placements some companies look for candidates with more than 60% in 10th, 12th and graduation. However, there are a lot of other companies which look at the overall profile of the candidate and the growth they have shown in the B-School.
In order to compensate for your lower graduation marks,
Hello,
Placement record of Banaras Hindu University is not very impressive for B.Sc Courses. Only top 10 to 20 Students get selected for jobs under B.Sc Mathematics course. The average salary would be somewhere between 1.5 lacs to 1.8 lacs, for B.Sc Mathematics course.
However, Candidates pursuing B.Sc Geology get a decent placement with package of nearly 3 to 4 lacs per annum. Placement is the weakest point of BHU.

hello gurumurthy20803
I hope you are doing good. As per your query , I would glad to compare these colleges according to my opnion and experience . Brand name is amritha is very high according to VIT vellore campus , its scored 66 and ranked 4th nirf ranking whereas vit scored 58 in nirf ranking . VIT is much much expensive than amritha, so their is affordabilty issues you can get . Infrastructure of amritha is slightly good than VIT but campus of both universities is very good location of india. If we talk about placements, Both the universities have same placement scenario which is 90 percent. So according to me vit is better
Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future
Dear aspirant,
I personally think the induri campus is a much better one to choose for merchant navy as it has the state of the art sporting facilities. The campus is of 100 acres and also consists of a trainee ship on campus to give the cadets hands on training they require. It has essentially all the necessary facilities to facilitate a global industry.
Hey,
NSUT ICE is quite good in terms of curriculum and opportunities offered/received. Placement is quite good as students get placed in both top tech and non-tech roles.
Average placement record is around 85%. Highest package offered is 50 Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 5Lakhs per annum and average package offered is 12 Lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies Amazon, Zomato, Oyo, etc.
Even there are chances for you to get selected in IT and MNC companies. All that requires is certain skills.
