I am 2019 passed out. I heard that candidates with 2 years and 2 years plus gap between B.tech and M.tech will not be able to apply for major placements in NIT. Is it true? Can I apply for NIT Warangal without any fear?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 7th Apr, 2021

Hello,

The eligibility criteria may not be the same for every company that is visiting for campus placements. The eligibility criteria to appear for a placement recruitment will be different depending on the company, role and requirements. One to two years gap in education is permissible most of the time. So you shouldn't worry about that. You can participate in the counselling to get admission in to NIT. At the time of placement selection please check the eligibility criteria before and then apply for the placement if you fulfill the eligibility requirements.

NSUT East campus is good. Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology is a leading institution of higher technical education in India, affiliated to University of Delhi. Doing Electronics and Communication Engineering with Machine Learning is good here as this branch has demand nowadays. Placement opportunities are decent. College environment, facilities and faculty are good here. Coming to Placement in Top MNCs you should have good communication skills and good academic performance then you have more chances to sit for Top MNCs. Work hard and concentrate on studies.

Is it worth in terms of placements persuing PGDM from KJ somaiya institute of management while having 4 years of work experience?

Abhishek Roy 25th Feb, 2021

Yes, you may pursue MBA from KJ Somaiya Institute Of Management Mumbai. KJ Somaiya is one of the Best Management Institutes in Maharashtra after SPJIMR, SJSOM IITB, JBIMS, NMIMS, IIM Nagpur and NITIE Mumbai. The Institute has good infrastructure, faculty and placement facilities.

However, I believe this is your last chance for a 2 Year MBA, Employers in India dont really look upto 5+Year Experience Candidates during B School 2 Year MBA Batch Placements. You may instead pursue an Executive MBA from some of the best B Schools for better career scope and prospects.
